Keme #8: I Miss You.. I Miss You Not

After that incident, we decided to give each other space. 'Di na nagpupunta si Floyd araw-araw sa bahay, naging busy na rin kasi siya sa Master Chef Philippines. Kasali sila ni Annika sa Top 4. Madalas siya nangungumusta sa text, pero ilan lang doon ang nireplyan ko.

I'm not a hypocrite to admit that I kinda miss him. I miss his company. Pero I'm scared that he might leave me, like everyone did to me. Hangga't maaari I don't want to feel this attachment, because I know where it will lead me to.

"Ewan ko sa'yo, Ginger. Me pagka-engot ka rin e." Naroon kami ni Roj sa balkonahe, nag-iinom. Wala itong pasok noon sa trabaho at inaya ko siyang mag-inom kami. "Don't tell me di ka pa rin naka-move on kay Stewart kaya pinagtutulakan mo si Floyd palayo?"

"No, I'm so over Stewart, Roj. Floyd helped me forget about him."

"Pero, ano ba talagang nararamdaman mo ke Floyd?"

Natahimik ako. Janet Jackson's 'Everytime' played inside my head. "I'm scared to fall in love. Afraid to love so fast. 'Cause everytime I fall in love it seems to never last.." Or so I thought.

Pero what triggers me is the song's chorus: "'Cause everytime your love is near, and everytime I'm filled with fear. Cause everytime I see your face, my heart just begin to race everytime.."

"Hoy, Ginger! Natahimik ka? Lasing ka na, 'no?" pukaw sa akin ni Roj.

"Gaga, 'di ako lasing! Medyo masa--" I felt a burst of acid coming from my stomach. Napatakbo ako papasok sa bahay at sumuka.

"Mukhang naparami ka na ng inom, ah. Akyat na kita sa taas, Gin." Inakay ako ni Roj papunta sa kuwarto ko.

"Tawagan ko ba si Floyd?" anito.

"Huwag!" tanggi ko. "Kaya ko ang sarili ko, Roj."

"O, maiwan na kita. May pasok pa ako bukas." I nodded. At umalis na ito.

Kailangang sanayin ko na ang sarili ko na wala si Floyd. Mahirap na.

But I so miss him. Like hell.

Here comes the acid burst again. Takbo ako sa lababo at doon nagsuka. Ang hapdi sa pakiramdam. Kagaya ng nararamdaman ko ngayon.
