"I'm a mess"

Viaan sat outside the emergency ward with tears continuously leaking out of his eyes.

It has been hours since they arrived in this freaking hospitals, hours since they took her inside the emergency ward, hours since he last saw her, hours since he sent his mother back home with Ro and asked Swadhin to take care of the media.

After all he had promised her he won't let any news about her leak in the media and he will keep his words.

Fragments of her words played in his mind as he sat there with closed eyes.

"You'll be miserable with her" he heard her worried tone and his rude reply play in his mind"than let me be miserable" as he left her alone to handle his questioning family.

"No one will ever love you like I do, love"

"Yes, no one can ever love me like you do cause you don't love me, you love what comes with me" his tone was full of scorn and her eyes were full of tears

He has been always been full of prejudice against her but can you blame him. One day out of nowhere his mom brings a 17 year old girl home, a girl whose only name they know and not even her full name, all they knew was her name is Anya and she is 17 year old and his mother had taken full responsibility of her.

And after few years of staying with them out of blue his mom asked him to marry her and when he rejects her. The next day he finds himself in bed with her and his mom also finds them in that condition and a permanent stamp is applied on their relationship which he can't remove, no matter what he did or wanted. He didn't get any say in anything, all things considered he reached only one conclusion i.e. "she is a golddigger who has trapped his family and is doing everything for money. She isn't the innocent girl his mom and brother thought her to be. She is a very cunning girl, he had seen her walk around like she owns the damn planet. The air of arrogance and cold fury always wrapped around her. He had seen her talk rudely with people and scare girls away".

So forgive him if he never found her an innocent angel his mother so liked to believe her to be. He found her more like a devil, a devil waiting for a chance to grasp control over their whole empire. So he did his best to make sure she didn't succeeded in her missions.

But all of his prejudices against her lay shattered around him right now as he feel he doesn't at all know the girl lying inside the emergency ward, a girl who claims to love him and even had literally proved that she will die for him.

He could clearly feel the phantom of panic that has grasped every molecule of his being when He was lying on the corridor with the statue he was unable to lift lying on him as flames danced all around him. He had watched as the girl who claimed to love him and had broken up with him because he didn't spend enough time with her because of his cricket ran away pushing him down on the first sign of the fire breakout leaving him helpless and calling for help and the girl he literally did nothing for come to save him.

Whoever said during your hard times it became crystal clear who really loves you has spoken hundred percent truth.

He was brought out of his chain of thoughts by the ringing of his phone. He was sure it was his mother calling up to know about her but to his surprise it was his elder brother.
