It was completely crazy backstage.

Everyone was running around, getting ready for our opening number.

My group had a hip hop section in the opening.

So I was dressed in my first hip hop routine costume.

It was a black crop top, black shorts and knee high converse.

Our routine was based off of the early 2000s, and It was amazing.

"Everyone to the stage please, everyone to the stage please! Thank you!" Someone over the loudspeaker said.

We all made our way to the stage.

I met up with the Junior ensemble, standing between Paisley and Jordan.

We all clasped hands as our teachers took the center of our circle.

"Well....This is it, What we've been training for, These two weeks have been truley amazing" Miss Julie smiles, tears in her eyes.

You could hear a few sniffles coming from us, but no one dared to let tears slip and run their makeup.

"All I have to say is...Kill it" Our hip hop instructor laughs.

"Hands in!" Mr. Hartfaild calls.

We all put our hands in the center.

"Oh three"

One...

Two...

Three...

"Spotlight!"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Jordan and Ava on deck!" Our stage manager calls.
"Thank you!" We call.
My costume was red with black rinestones and Jordans was black with red rinestones.
We run backstage as I put my ear ring in.
"Please welcome to the stage, Junior duet Love me, love me not, preformed by Jordan Presely and Ava Lypton"
Jordan and I walk onstage and take our starting position.
The curtains opened and the music starts.
As we danced I looked out into the audience, scanning the crowed.
For what?
Or for who?
Good question.
I've been on three times already.
So what's important about this time?
As my eyes wonder but soon land on the persons face I needed to see.
Will.
He smiles, Giving me a thumbs up.
I smile in return and continue the routine.
As we finish the audience roars with applause.
The curtians close and Jordan and I run off, hugging each other.
"That was perfect!" He smiles.
"It was! But I have to go change for Pointe" I laugh.
We run to the dressing rooms and I run into mine.
Throwing off my duet costume and changing into pink tightes, a purple leotard and tutu, lacing my pointe shoes up.
"Junior pointe on deck!"
