On The Dance Floor

Opening night!

I walked into the theater and head back to my dressing room. 

"Hey!" I smile, seeing Sophie. 

"Hi!' She smiles "Justin got you an iced coffee" 

She points to the cup but my mirror and I smile. 

"Tell him he's amazing" I state. 

"Got it!" Sophie giggles. 

I take a sip of the coffee and plug in my mirror lights. 

The show started at 7 and we were here at 5:30.

It was early but Sophie, Mason and I had the most complicated makeup. 

"I can't believe this is our last time doing the nutcracker" I frown. 

"I know, But that's what we get for being on the compeititon team" Sophie shurgs. 

Since the senior team was leaving we were going to be the new senior team, the rest of the girls and boys our age got to do nutcracker and the senior showcase. 

Lucky.

I look at myself in the mirror and sigh. 

"I'm not ready for this" I laugh. 

"Big mood" Sophie nods, hairspraying her hair into place. 

I take my hair down and start on it. 

"I never asked, did Paige like the surprise?" Sophie asks. 

"She loved it" I smile "Maybe a little to much" 

We look at each other with an all-knowing glance and laugh.

We return to our makeup and hair. 

Me touching it off with putting snowflake stickers on my cheek bones next to the glitter. 

Kendal pops her head into the doorway and smiles. 

"Hi!" She says. 

"Hey!" I smile. 

She points to my coffee and I hand it to her, she takes a sip and hands it back. 

"I'm going to sit in here, it's lonley in my dressing room" Kendal states. 

"Okay" Sophie laughs.

We talk and joke for a while before Kendal has to leave to change. 

I slide on my costume and lace up my pointe shoes.

I start warming up when there is a knock on the door. 

Sophie gives me a thumbs up, steping out of the bathroom. 

I open the door and Will is standing there. 

"What are you doing back here?" I ask. 

"I wanted to wish you two good luck...But wow you look amazing" He states, eyeing me up and down, biting his lip.

I laugh "You need to go, Mrs. Hanna will kill you if she finds you back here" 

"No" He whines. 

"Out!" I order, pointing out the door. 

He leans in for a kiss. 

"Uhm no, Lip stick" I laugh, putting my hand in front of his face.

"You see, I don't care" He smiles, pinning my hands to the side of me and kissing me. 

"PDA!" Sophie screams. 

Will glares at her "Sometimes you can be annoying" 

"Aw! I know!" Sophie grins.
