Tomorrow is my last exam and right now it's 3:30 AM and I am still sitting with my books scattered all over the bed. I'm not unprepared for my exam.

Nope.

I've done my revision like 20th time yesterday. It barely took me two hours. I am awake coz I can't sleep. I tried to sleep but I couldn't. So basically I'm tiring myself to sleep.

Someone knocked the door.

That's Daddy.

I recognize it.

"Daddy." He opened the door and started staring at the mess on my bed.

"Isn't it past your bed time? Your last exam is tomorrow right???"

I nodded still ignoring him.

"You should be sleeping right now."

"Where's Courtney???"

Ha

I counter attacked.

"It's actually Kelly today." He said.

"She didn't even last a week???" I pretended to be shocked.

"Hey! You're changing the topic nerd. Enough books for now birdie." He said snatching the book from my hand.

I picked up another from side. He kept snatching books from me until there was no book left on bed. I fake cried.

"Why are you so stubborn???" He said.

Look who's speaking." I chuckled.

He sighed and smiled.

"Go to sleep now." He ordered.
"You know I can't." I said looking at him.

"That's why I'm here." He said sitting on the side of my bed.

"What about her?? What was her name? Kelly???"

"Forget it. I'm done with her."

Ewww...

I don't even wanna think about that.

"I'm reminding you that I'm still a child. You can't do these kinda talks with me."

"And my best friend." He said looking at me.

"Yup." I nodded happily.

"Nothing in this world is more important to me than my little birdie nerd." He said kissing my forehead.
"Don't call me nerd." I warn him every time but no use.

"Now go to sleep I'm here."
And I finally went to sleep.

Next day, after my exam, Daddy and Happy.

"Hey Daddy. Hey Happy."
Happy waved and Daddy hugged me.

"How did it went?"

"Nailed it." I exclaimed.

I opened my notebook and started noting down things about my research I just came to know about in my library. Daddy started bumping his elbow with mine, and he didn't stopped until he ruined my page.

Ughhh

His jerk mode is on right now.

I gave him a glare and he started laughing.
