Story takes place one week after Maya's done with her sophomore year of high school.
A lot has changed in one year but what can happen that will change just about everything.
1. Maya is sixteen along with a lot of her friends excluded Lucas who's actually seventeen.
2. Josh is nineteen and a freshmen in college.
3. Katy and Shawn had a little baby girl named Sophie she is one month old.
4. Maya had gone through a few things that Josh doesn't know about and which he'll find out later on.
5. For now all that Josh knows is that Maya is going through some stuff.
6. Riley is pregnant.
