Chapter 4: (Aubrey's POV)- Psychotic, sociopathic bitch

"You did, however, just tell me how much in love Ace is with her. I bet she'd love to know," I spoke threateningly.

"You wouldn't. You're not that cruel. You may act like a bitch with me, but we both know you're nowhere near it," he pointed out.

Valid point.

"You know who is a bitch? Your ex! And not just a bitch, but a psychotic, sociopathic bitch," I stated.

"Very true," he nodded. "Don't know why I dated her. Should've been you," he shrugged.

"Funny," I laughed humorlessly. "You don't think you're moving a little too fast? Trying a little too hard? Like buddy, chill. It's only been a couple of hours," I mocked while standing up to go to the kitchen and get water.

"Don't test me." He grabbed my arm while standing up, pulling me flush against his body.

"Or what?" I challenged. Before he could respond, the doorbell rang. "Pizza." I pointed out while going to answer the door. He came up behind me with a ten-dollar bill in his hand.

"That'll be eight dollars." the delivery guy handed the pizza over to me while Xavier paid him.

"He checked you out," Xavier pointed out while walking into the kitchen as I opened the box and grabbed a slice.

"I'm flattered?" I said but it came out more like a question.

"Is that a question?" he chuckled while I faintly blushed, my cheeks heating up.

"I don't know," I spoke truthfully while taking a bite out of my slice.

"You're cute when you're confused," he laughed while walking over to me, leaning on the other side of the counter, facing me while I sat up on the counter.

"Do you ever get cute or...?" I taunted.

"You don't think I'm cute?" he raised his eyebrows at me.

"Frankly, no," I lied. I mean come on, I may not like the guy or his attitude but I can't deny he is one good-looking guy.

"Why lie to yourself? It's pointless." He cocked his head to the side.

"It's not pointless because I'm not lying," I shrugged and took another bite.

He huffed and set his pizza down in the box which rested beside me.

"What are you doing?" my eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

He dusted his hands before throwing his shirt off and onto my lap.

I am not looking. Not again.

"I'm not cute then? Not good-looking? Not hot? You don't find me the slightest bit attractive?" He stood in front of me and placed his hands next to my thighs on the counter.

I shrugged casually while freaking out internally. "Nope." I shook my head before taking a bit out of my pizza.

"Aubrey," he sighed while shaking his head. "Who the hell are you lying to? You couldn't take your eyes off of me upstairs. Just because you're not looking doesn't mean you don't like what you saw." He gave me a pointed look while smirking boyishly.

I placed my hands on his shoulders, making him take a step back. "Stripping in front of me to get me to say that I think you're attractive, isn't exactly the best strategy. I was caught off guard upstairs but now," I sighed while checking him out shamelessly to prove a point. "I don't care." I shifted my eyes back to his while shrugged casually.
