Chapter 6: (Xavier's POV)- Babe?

"Honey wake up! Aubrey's gonna be here any second!" my mom called from downstairs.

I rolled out of bed and quickly brushed my teeth and got dressed. I was pulling my phone off charge at my desk while I saw Aubrey riding into my driveway.

She had earphones plugged in and was lip-syncing and bobbing her head to whatever song she was listening to. She hopped off the bike before it even stopped and rested it against my mailbox like yesterday. She grabbed her keys, and phone from the basket at the front and spun in circles while dancing, the music probably blasting in her ears.

I laughed to myself before opening my window and screaming out, "Babysitter! Hey!"

She abruptly stopped, tripping over her own feet before plucking her earphones out and looking around in confusion.

"Up here!" I waved.

She looked up, her face scrunching up adorably at the brightness of the sun.

What the hell is wrong with me? Xavier, snap out of it!

"What?" she shouted in confusion. She suddenly seemed snappy, in a sour mood almost.

"Why so snappy and sour?" I questioned in confusion.

She was just happily dancing in her merry-go-round. "You interrupted my favorite song!" she yelled before ignoring me and stomping up to my front door.

I laughed before sliding down the railing to open the door for her. I opened the door, leaning against it with a grin on my face.

"Incoming," she warned before storming in and hiding behind the door.

I looked at her in confusion as a Mercedes pulled into my driveway. The door swung open to reveal the last person I wanted to see.

Kylie Lopez. The psychotic, sociopathic bitch. My ex-girlfriend, if I can even call her that. It was a one-night stand almost ten months ago and ever since then, she's stuck to me like a goddamn leech. She's supposed to be in Australia for the whole summer what the hell is she doing here?

"Kylie?" I questioned in confusion while she ran out of her car, straight up to me. She tried to hug me but I made sure to stick my arm out and tell her to keep her distance.

"Babe!" she whined.

"Babe?" I questioned my brows furrowing. "We broke up, Kylie. Why are you here?" I pressed further.

"Babe, just let me in!" she tried walking in again but I didn't let her.

I shook my head. "You need to leave. Now. I don't wanna see you. You're not my girlfriend, got it?" I spoke sternly.

"Who is she?" she spoke, venom dripping from her words.

What the hell is wrong with this girl?

"Who's the other girl? I know there's someone else! There has to be! Why else?" She barged right into my house.

I looked behind the door to see Aubrey gone. "I'm gonna have to call the cops on you. Get the hell out," I sighed, tired of her bullshit. This isn't the first time she's just showed up like this. Doesn't she understand? It's over. Whatever it was. Before she could say anything I continued. "You're supposed to be in Australia, what the hell are you doing here?" I shot.

"I came to visit. I'm gonna be there for the whole summer and I wanted to see you." She tried to come close to me again.

I swear to god I'm about to lose it. "When's your flight?" I interrogated.
