To lay and stare at the stars,
With you by my side,
The moon smiling down at us.
I wonder what it feels like,
To watch you and the sunset,
Together with the ocean's roar,
Knowing that my heart is home.
I wonder what it feels like,
To bleed my words for you,
To turn you into poetry,
And keep you forever in these lines.
I wonder what it feels like,
To finally write about love,
Discard my poetry of loss,
And find hope in my own words.
