8. Nishinoya - Puns ♡

You had finished your literature club after school so as usual you head over to the gym and wait for your boyfriend Nishinoya so you could walk back home with him, you opened the door to the gym once you arrived and saw nishinoya and hinata practicing their tosses and passes

"rooolinggg..... THUNDEEEERRRR" he yelled out loud as he did his signature move doing his libero thing.

you stood there quietly giggling to your self when hinata saw you from the corner of his eye

"oh hey there, (y/n)" he waved

"hey, how is practice going for you two?" you waved back and made your way closer to hinata and nishinoya.

"did you see how cool i was (y/n)?" he asked you with all his confidence

"let's just say that rolling thunder thing will always be childish" you laughed, he gave you a pout

"i'm kidding, i'm kidding you always look cute when you do that" you told him making him feel better and making him blush a little as well.

after a bit of joking around with hinata too you and nishinoya decided to spend some time at my house, after a while of walking  you felt like wanting to hold nishinoya's hand but you knew he was too nervous every time your hands would even just brush against each other so you had a cute yet smart idea to get a good reaction.

you first made your hand brush against his, he got a bit startled but didn't react as much. you then took your pinky finger out and intertwined it with his pinky finger, he was already blushing a dark shade on his face and ears.

'how cute can this boy be, i'm blessed'

he really wanted to be the good boyfriend and not get too nervous so he tried his best for you to not look at his red blushing face and kept his pinky intertwined with his.

You finally got home, your parents were still at work so it was only the both of you.

you told nishinoya that you were going upstairs to your room to change into something more comfortable, nishinoya decided to take a shower since he was still sweaty from practice and grab a change of his clothes which he kept at your house just in case he would spend the night or anything else.

you opened the door at the same time that nishinoya opened the bathroom door which was right in front of your room standing in the hallway

"hey (y/n), wanna hear some good puns i thought of?"

"oh god not again" you shook your head in disappointment

he chuckled at your response

"alright, why do chickens look at their egg when it's about to hatch?"

"noya please do-" you spoke but he cut you off immediately

"because they are eggcited" he snorted right after laughing at his own joke, you on the other hand just face palmed your self

'ah shit here we go again he's never gonna stop now'

"okay, okay this one is good listen" he then cleared his throat

"knock knock" he smiled at you waiting for a response, you stood there debating on weather to slap him or keep going

"noya, stop... no more" you said in a monotone, tired of hearing his bad jokes

he pouted.

he later made himself comfortable on your bed as you were finishing up your homework, you finally closed the book and grabbed a candy from your drawer and headed over to your boyfriend sitting by him on the bed

"whatchu eating?" he asked curious

"a candy" you replied

"sweet or sour?" he asked smirking

'this boy is up to no good today'

"sweet"  you said taking another one and put it in your mouth

"oouuu! i got one!" he exclaimed in a hyper tone

"are you a candy?" he continued

"cuz you got a sweet ass-" he got cut off by a flick on the forehead

"stop noya, that's not a joke, it's called flirting" you said

"okay, do you like ketchup? cause you really gotta ketchup to me if you wanna win" he chuckled, for some reason this made you giggle a little

"oh! what was that?! i heard you giggle!" nishinoya pointed out

"shut up"

"is your funny bone broken? cause i noticed that you're feeling kind of bonely all of a sudden" he continued with his punny jokes

you had to admit, this one made you laugh, really hard even though it was bad you just laughed anyways, nishinoya joined in too

"knock knock"nishinoya asked

"who's there?" you replied still with tears on your face from laughing too much

"old lady" he giggled

"old lady who?" you tried to process the joke

"oh wow (y/n), i didn't know that you could yodel" he said and this made you wheeze even harder

"ok noya stop my stomach actually hurts" you said still letting out laughs, holding your stomach

"okay, i'm sowwy" he pouted and kissed your stomach, you let out one last giggling at his gesture

you were both so tired by laughing so much, you dropped down, laying down next to nishinoya, you turned your face to look at him, his eyes were already closed and you could hear his breathing, you wrapped your arm around him and in no time you also fell asleep in his arms.

And that night for you was the most fun you had in a long time so far.
