29. Sakusa - Kiss on the cheek ♡

It was a relaxing day on the rooftop of your school to spend dome time with your friends having lunch, you convinced your boyfriend sakusa to join even if he didn't like dusty places but that was kind of the point you were trying to get sakusa to be a bit more open and not worry about a little dust

"hey (y/n)" your friend pulled you so your backs were facing everyone

"you and kiyoomi kiss yet?" she whispered in your ear so the others wouldnt hear especially sakusa, he always had to know if he was talked about or he wouldn't be calm

"ehh? WHAT?!" your friend accidentally yelped out in disbelif

sakusa looked at the both of you curiosly but shrugged it off going back to eating his food

"but you've been together for 3 months!" she whisper yelled with a look od dissapointment

"i've been trying but i don't want to scare him just case, you know... his htred for germs"

your friend sighed and put on her thinking face

"ah!" an idea sparked through that wild brain of hers

"if he doesn't want to then you gotta tease and provoke him" she smirked, your cheeks grew a light pink color

"what do you mean?" you asked

"well just stay close to him maybe swoop in and grab his hand, and when the time is right just give him a kiss on the cheek" your friend sounded as confident as ever

"how do you know that will work tho?" you asked a little concerned

"just trust me, it works" she smiled at you and turned back around facing the others, you did the same as your head ws deept in thoughts

you glanced over at the insecure boy putting his mask back on listening to the conversations others were having, keeping his distance

----- AFTER SCHOOL -----

"sakusa! wait up!" you ran out the school entrance catching up with your boyfriend

"oh there you are" he looked at you as you smiled walking along with him

it was already pretty late since both you and sakusa do after school clubs, finishing at 5:30 but knowing sakusa he stayed in late to practice a bit more so by the time you were both walking out the school gates it was already 6, the sun was starting to go down giving a beautiful golden light on the side walk you were both on

you were about to talk to sakusa when your phone vibrated

there should be a firework fesival 5 minutes from your house, why not put the plan in act tonight ;) ?

looking t the text you build up your confidence, this could be an opportunity

"hey sakusa" you stopped in your tracks, he also stopped aftera few steps and turned towards you

"yeah?" he sked seeing you fidgeting a little

"i know you hate crowds but can we go to the fire works festival?" you asked innocently

"but you know i hate those places so why ask" he rised a brow

"because uhm- because it would men a lot to me" your stare shot up to look directly into his, a weakness he secretly has is looking into your desperate eyes, so now he was really thinking on what to do

you wited for his response

"fine, but not for long" he sighed in defeat

you gave him a bright smile to thank him "you won't regreat it!"

after a bit of walking you arrived at the festival, the sky was already a deep blue color painted with stars, there were many stands with street food and paths lit up by traditional lanterns, luckly it was too crowded so skusa wasn't as tense

"mummy let's go i want to see the fireworks!" a kid ran past you, you took this as a chance to move closer to him and slowly sneaked your hand intertwining it with his

sakusa flinched at this and looked at you, you peacefully kept walking holding onto his hand

sakusa wanted to react but couldn't he strangely liked the feeling of your warm touch of hands so he just brushed the thought off and enjoyed the feeling

"how about we go see the fireworks?" you asked moving even closer hugging his arm with your other hand

he nodded nd you led him towards an iron rail that faced upon a beach packed with people sitting waiting for the fireworks to start

'this is it i need to start making my move now' you hesitated

you looked towards sakusa who was leaning on the cold rail staring oof into the sea

"i'm really happy you agreed to bring me here sakusa, it must of taken a lot of courage to agree to come along, you're doing good" you spoke sounding very proud ctually

sakusa wasn't looking at your expressions but he knoew you ment it just by the tone in your voice

"i-it's ok" he stuttered, blushing ever so slightly behind tht mask of his, he felt his hot breath and decided to lower the mask to brethe the fresh salty air coming from the close by shore

you saw this as an open opportunity you lened in and left a peck on his cheek

and in no time sakusa's fce grew red, the curly haired boy couldn't resist anymore, not after what you just did, you wouldn't expect what would happen next.

sakusa turned his body to face you and grabbed you close not leaving a gap between your bodies, he cupped your cheek and brought you closer until your lips met

just as if the timing was perfect a firework shot up nd went off shining colorful lights onto the both of you

sakusa puled away taking in a deep breath

"i-i couldn't hold it in i'm sorry"

you just stood, still tangled in his embrace and smiled at him

"i have the best boyfriend in the world" you smiled wider and giving him one last peck on the lips, leaving sakusa as a blushing mess without knowing what to say.
