I'm so sorry that you all needed to wait so long for this chapter but to make it up to you, I'll update two chapters today. Enjoy!

(and how can i insert gifs?? still haven't figured that out lol)

D'Aiello it says in small black letters on the name plate.

I ring the bell and take a step back, checking if I have everything I need with me. Let's see... I have my notepad, my laptop, a black pen and a few of my old exams. Perfect.

It takes a few seconds and then Greg opens the door.

"Ava!" he is standing in his doorstep, wearing white track pants and a rose sweatshirt and is looking at me with a big smile on his face. I hope he will still look like that when we're finished with the three hours of studying. I can't help it but giggle at that thought.

"What are you laughing about?" he chuckles and waves me in  "Come on in now!"

This dude is really never in a bad mood. I try to figure out why exactly that is while I nod politely and walk through the door but then come to the simple conclusion that he probably just deals with zero stress and just chills his life.
I am right about to take my shoes off when he points towards the garden. "Let's go out. You can keep them on"

I walk carefully through the living room, trying not to step on the super expensive looking carpet and walk further to the window panes that give a little preview of the beautiful garden.

It really looks beautiful.

Greg opens the french door that leads to the patio and we step out into the garden area. The form of the garden is similar to ours but whereas ours has a lot more trees in, theirs has all different sorts of flowers, a pond with goldfishes and even a small summer house. You can see that someone really cares about this garden, you almost feel like you're in a botanical heaven.

„It really looks pretty. Your garden. All those different flowers, wow." I try to express my thoughts out loud while admiring the huge water fountain in the middle of the garden.

"Yeah, mum puts pretty much all of her energy in it when she's at home." he replies, not realising how overwhelmed I am by this beautiful place, and walks out with a few books and papers, which to me seems like his french work.

We study about two hours without an interruption- I have to admit that I did not expect Greg to have such a durance- when a woman walks out with a tablet and puts a few refreshings and several sorts of fruits next to us.

"You have a maid?" I blurt out after she has left and Greg just laughs at my dropped jaw.

"Dad is often on buisiness trips and mom is rarely home because of her full time job so they like to make sure I'm not alone. I could easily get along on my own though but you know... what you gonna do"

"Right..." I raise my eyebrows and smile.

"So, about Timothée..." he continues and I instantly feel my arm hairs straightening up.

„What about him?" I ask, trying to act like his name did not just cause my whole body to shiver.

"I heard you two are not talking to each other anymore."

"You heard that, huh?"

„I am not supposed to tell you this- in fact he would probably kill me if he found out I told you this, but..." he makes a small pause and a hands gesture towards me "Ava, he really likes you"
