"So, when do I go back to school?" I asked my mom in the car.
"You're not going back there. You're doing online school for the rest of the year until you fully get better."
I didn't say anything.
"I'm happy to have you back," she said.
"Me too," I smiled.
I'll have to take medications for a long time, or at least until I can manage without them, if that's even possible. I will need to go to therapy once a week as well. I've come to peace with my diagnosis and I am feeling optimistic that I will get better.
