Delphine immediately went to Will when they boarded the Black Pearl, she hadn't had the time to question him properly when they were hanging in a cage. "Please explain to me what the hell you're doing here? And where's Elizabeth?"

"In a cell in Port Royal, we've been sentenced  to death," Will said, looking down at Delphine before looking up at where Jack had just climbed aboard, talking to Gibbs.

"Are you serious? Death?" Delphine was beyond confused, she knew they had been arrested but had no idea their punishment was supposed to be death.

"Yes, and all for helping him," Will said, looking back at Jack, "I need to get his compass and return to Port Royal," He finished before walking off to talk to Jack himself.

Delphine followed slowly, rolling her eyes as she heard Will explain what was happening with Elizabeth and Jack telling him he should take responsibility for his own mistake - helping him.

"What we need is to make sail for Port Royal with all haste," Will said, and Delphine finally butted in.

"If I go back to Port Royal, and they realise I skipped my coronation to go galavanting with pirates," Delphine said, looking around with a sigh, "They'll send me right back to the Northern Isles, and I dread to think how they'll act,"

"Delphine, your little sister is in trouble, you can help her," Will pleaded. Delphine knew he was right, the risk was worth saving Elizabeth's life.

"That really does seem to be a reoccurrence," Jack said, standing next to Delphine, smirking.  "William, I shall trade you the compass, if you will help me find this," Jack added, pulling out the piece of paper with the key on it, to show Will.

"You want me to find this?"

"No," Jack said, "You want you to find this, because the finding of this finds you incapacitorially finding and/or locating in your discovering thinking of a way to save your dolly belle, ol' what's-her-face, Savvy?"

Both Will and Delphine narrowed their eyes at the pirate ultimately confused by what he had just said but Will grabbed the paper and said, "this is going to save Elizabeth?"

"How much do you know about Davy Jones?" Jack asked, both Will and Delphine.

"Not much," Will said, Delphine nodding along in agreement, she knew nothing.

"Yeah, it's going to save Elizabeth," Will looked at him and nodded, believing his statement. Delphine couldn't help but narrow her eyes at Jack, he was looking for the key anyway, there was no way it was going to save Elizabeth.

"We need to go see someone," Jack said, rushing around the ship, giving the crew commands to get them on their way.

"Who?" Delphine asked, following closely behind him, eager to know exactly what he was doing.

"Someone," Jack replied, turning around briefly to her and smiling before walking off once more.

"Jack," She said, picking up her pace behind him to catch up.

"Delphine?..." He didn't even look at her and he waltzed around the Pearl.

"Why are you being so secretive?" She grabbed his hand, finally causing him to stop and fully face her. He looked down at her hand, and wrapped his around it, before looking back into the princesses eyes.

"Trust me, you don't want to know, love."

Delphine was in a rowing boat with Will and Mr Gibbs, they were going down a small river in the middle of a jungle. The end destination wasn't clear to most of them - only to Jack.

"Why aren't you with Jack?" Will asked, taking Delphine's attention away from the water and to him.

"He's not telling me anything," She looked over to Jack, who looking around as if in fear. Yet again, something no one other than him understood.

"We're saving Elizabeth," Will replied, he looked confused, that's what they were doing right?

"It's more than just that, and you know it,"

Will sighed, looking away from Delphine and to Mr Gibbs.

"Why is Jack afraid of the open ocean?" He asked, Delphine kept listening also curious about the answer, something was off, something had changed that made him scared.

"Well, if you believe such things," Gibbs began, his usual story telling tone coming out, "there's a beast does the bidding of Davy Jones.

"A fearsome creature with giant tentacles that'll suction your face clean off, and drag an entire ship down to the crushing darkness. The kraken." A dark aura now filled the people in their boat, all scared of the creature Gibbs was describing, a creature that could easily kill them.

"They say the stench of its breath is like," He continues, shuddering at the thought, "Imagine, the last thing you know on Gods green earth is the roar of the kraken and the reeling odour of a thousand rotting corpses,"

"If you believe such things," Gibbs added with a light smile, as if trying to alleviate the tension he had brought on.

"And the key will spare him that?" Will asked,

"Well that's the very question Jack wants answered. Bad enough even to go visit... her."

"Her?" Delphine spoke up, asking Gibbs. Why hadn't Jack told her anything about who they were going to see? Delphine didn't think the lone reason would be her gender, would it?

"Aye," Gibbs answered, not delving into further detail of his statement. Once again, Delphine was filled with confusion and curiosity, but also anger. No one was answering her questions, she felt left in that dark
