Thoughts on Writer's block from skyebme!

How often do I get writers block: Every few months there's a full stop but for individual projects like every other week.

How long writers block lasts: Anywhere from a few days to a month.

My worst writers block was when: Smack dab in the middle of corona, plenty of time and zero motivation.

Why I get writers block: It's either because I'm focused on something outside the realm of writing, like work, or I've started binging a new tv series.

How I overcome writers block: Pinterest, boards full of inspiration and plot prompts and such.

How would I describe my writing style: Very bare bones in early drafts and slowly it opens up to be more descriptive, bouncy.

My process for writing chapters: I have a general skeleton of what I want to happen but most of it is just flying by the seat of my pants. The only scenes that are properly planned out come from a scene dump that starts at the beginning to jab some ideas down for later. For the most past I go by feel about when things should happen.
