Caroline Gilmore returned home after a summer internship at ABC. Sure, She was at the bottom of the totem pole but she met a bunch of people and really liked it. After her 2 hour drive, Caroline returned home to Stars Hollow right as Rory and Grandma came.
"Caro."
"Grandma."
"Caro!"
"Rory!"
Rory and Caro approached slowly.
"Are we ok?"
Caro gave a small smile and her expressive eyes answered for her but not verbally. They said Not yet but soon. Caro looked over at Emily and said "Can I hug you.."
Emily smiled and said "No, I stink... How was ABC?"
"It was a fantastic experience. I did all of the grunt work. I fact checked for various news. I even brought up news articles." Caro said. "How was Europe?"
They moved towards the house. Rory opened the door and yelled "Hello."
"Kitchen!"
"Oh my traveller and my ABC intern..."
They hugged.
