Just like in every competition, there are some rules that must be followed. We don't want this to be chaos, do we? The rules are simple and you'll be asked to follow all of them. We will check.

Participants

• Follow this account and your judge permanently (not from backups, please)
• Add this book to your private library and public reading list for the duration of the contest
• Give a shoutout on your message board
• Add the tag #theseasonalcontests to your blurb or book description. After the contest is over, you can remove this tag❖ REQUIREMENTS
• If you change your username or the title of your book, let us know. If you do not report such changes, your book will not be judged
• Your story must be written in English
• You must have at least 20K words published upon submission. This rule does not apply to short story/poetry, for which at least 5 parts are needed, unless the book is completed.
• Your book must have less than 30K reads*****

• If you're also a participant, you are not allowed to judge in the genre that your own work is in
• You must be fluent in English since you will be judging books in that language❖ TASKS
• Judge your assigned books of the genre you pick before the deadline
• You must read at least 10-15 chapters from each book unless it's a short story or poetry (if the chapters are very short then read a few more so you can get a general idea of the book)
• Read everything in the chapter titled 'Judging Rubric' before judging
