As we approached the tall crystal doors of the palace, I couldn't help but feel intimidated by the staring guards. I nodded my head as a kind gesture, only to find myself being completely ignored. Rolling my eyes I moved my attention over to a long table filled with exotic fruits and sweets. Now that I think about it, we hadn't really eaten in a while ever since we set sail from that one port on the way here. My stomach grumbled with defeat. That was until a glossy red apple was held in front of my face.

"I know that face love. Here. Eat up." Jacob whispered almost out of breath from running to the table. I smiled at him with a face full of gratitude. Happily taking a big savory bite out of the apple, my eyes watered with satisfactory. I had barely noticed the juice from the apple silently dripping down my chin yet, I couldn't have another care in the world. This apple was just too good! Honest! As we continued walking to the throne room, Jacob walked slowly at my pace beside me once in a while to wipe off any small apple juice drops on my chin.

"What would I do without you Holland?" I whispered in his ear as a nearby guard took the apple core from my hands and tossed it to a maid.

Chuckling, he side eyed me with a mischievous look.

"You know..." He said in a playful tone.

---Timeskip---

The throne room took the crew in awe. The same way the whole kingdom had. The walls filled with a trancing blue and a dominant gold. The king and queen sat patiently on their confident thrones with a soft welcoming smile.

"Father, mother. You won't believe what had hap-" Blair spoke loudly until she was cut off.

"Yes yes it truly is a blessing your safe and sound darling, but may we have a word with these glorious heroes of yours?" The king exclaimed staring down at Jacob.

Blair paused then continued.

"Yes. Of course." Blair sighed as she excused herself outside of the throne room.

As the doors closed the king and queen seemed to lean forward from their chair to better examine the group of ex-hunters in front of them.

"So pardon me, but which one of you saved our daughter again?" The queen said as she continued scanning the crowd in front of her.

My father (Captain Crow) decided to speak up.

"Well ya majesties, it would be my boy Jacob here you see". Father exclaimed as he put an arm around Jacob's shoulders.

The crew started to cheer for Jacob for who knew what prize we had in store. Some were thinking of riches. Others a lifetime supply of food! Excited to hear what the royals had to say we approached closer to the steps that lead to the throne.

"Oh I see. Quite a handsome young fellow aren't you?" The king laughed.

"Oh well I wouldn't say handsome now" Jacob blushed.

My cheeks flushed with slight irritation from Jacob's comment.

"Of course you're handsome! Never doubt that you jackass" I thought then scoffed.

The king fixed his posture then took a deep breath.

"Would you be up to having an arranged marriage with our daughter?" The King smiled widely.

The whole crew went silent. Eyes wide open and jaws almost hitting the floor. My heart sank like the anchor of our ship. Thoughts running through my head.

(Third Person P.O.V)

Both Jacob and y/n could be seen with shocked pale faces that clearly read,

"THIS CANNOT BE HAPPENING"!!!
