Think I need someone older

S I X T E E N

On Thursday morning I was in the paddocks with Lewis, we walked together in the paddocks because our relationship was secret but also no one can believe that Lewis and I are together

We walked in my garage and we separated ways, I walked into my garage to take a look at my car

"Good Morning Michaela" I turned to watch Christian

"Good Morning" I said trying to act polite

"I didn't watch you in our hotel" Christian said

"Yes you didn't! I didn't stay there, I try to avoid you and Max" I added

"You have interview with Max" Christian smiled at me

"Okay" I answered

I walked to find Max and he was with Sky Germany for our interview

"Hallo" I greeted them in German and the journalist gave me a microphone

"Hallo Michaela" He said smiling

The interview started and all of us could understand that there is something bad between us and I want to avoid him

With the end of the interview we walked together until our garages

"Where have you been since you came in Miami?" Max asked but I didn't want to answer where I was

I walked until my garage and my PR manager, Stefie, told me that I have interview with my favourite journalist

Andrea

With a smile on my face I walked there

"Hallo Hübsche!" ("Hello Beautiful") Andrea gave me a hug

"Hallo!" I said smiling

"Geht es dir und Max gut? Ich habe nicht vor, während des Vorstellungsgesprächs etwas zu fragen, aber ich mache mir große Sorgen um euch beide!" ("Are you and Max okay? I don't plan on asking anything during the interview, but I'm very worried about you both!") Andrea asked

"Wir haben uns getrennt und du kennst den Grund!" ("We broke up and you know the reason!") I smiled a bit and I leaned to her ear "Ich bin mit Lewis liiert" ("I'm in a relationship with Lewis")

Andrea froze as I faced her, she was completely lost in shock

"Beginnen wir mit dem Interview!" ("Let's start the interview!") She said laughing and being out of zone

The next morning I had a meeting with my team for the new upgrades we need to make on the car

"That's it" Christian stood up and we all did the same "Michaela and Max are staying"

I sighed and they all walked outside and I stayed in the room with Max and Christian

"We wanted to tell you that we both are really sorry for what happened" Christian said

"It's okay! I'm fine! I really am" I replied "I just have trust issues"

"I told Max to do that so we can protect our team! I watched that Lewis is always close to you and he probably likes you so we wanted yeah" Christian said

"I never lied for liking you! The relationship just came too soon" Max said

"I don't believe anyone of you" I stood up smiling and walked to my room to get ready for the free practice in Miami

In FP1 Lewis was the fastest, I was behind him and Max was 3rd and in FP2 I was the fastest, Carlos behind me and Lewis 3rd

We all had interviews after the free practices, I was next to Lewis that he had with a Spanish Channel and I had with Sky Italia

An explosion heard and the only thing I remember is Lewis falling against me to protect me

"You okay?" Lewis asked squeezing my hand

"Yes" I replied and we both stood up

The security guards came to take us away

"She's coming with me" Lewis said grabbing my hand and the security guards took us to Mercedes Hospitality

I was wearing RedBull T-Shirt

"You both are okay?" Toto asked

"Yes" we both replied

"No one of you will leave the Hospitality until we find who did that" Toto said

"Maybe it was terrorist attack, because it was close but a small bomb" Lewis said

"Yeah Lewis is right" a security guard walked to us "they just informed me to tell you that it was a small bomb but we also have a biggest one that it'll explode if someone walk outside from the paddocks"

"That's too much" I giggled "You sure about that?"

"Yes but we can disconnect the bomb with the help of pyrotechnics" the security guard replied

We all sat to the big couch of the Hospitality

"How many years you have a contact with RedBull, Michaela?" Toto asked

"Just this year" I replied

"Good" Toto nodded "Because I like you I will tell you that! If I tell you come here the next season will you come and drive next to Lewis?"

I smiled

"I would love that! But we have to discuss about it! I don't like being in RedBull! In the first place everything was fine but now I don't like be there" I answered

"Here we are a family and we don't make bullshits! I really don't know what Horner did to you but we are not capable of doing anything that will affect but our drivers" Toto said

"I have to think about it" I answered smiling

"You can always talk to Lewis about how we are here! Or to Mick! Just not to George yet! I want to find him a team" Toto replied

"But George is an absolute amazing driver" I said

"Yes but you are the one that can win championships" Toto smiled at me

They told us the bomb got disconnected so I walked with security guards in RedBull

"Where have you been?" Christian asked madly

"Mercedes" I replied

"At least I know that Lewis protects you" Christian answered
