Though I enjoyed exercising, I didn't really like it when my entire team was in the exercise room with me. I just felt cramped and even a little judged. I didn't look like Dex or Anthony did, and Aiden was just a jerk so he'd make snide comments to me whenever he could.

Today, we were all in the exercise room beside Anthony. I didn't know what he was doing, but I was glad he wasn't there with us because it just would have made the room even more crowded than it already was.

Aiden was a little too preoccupied with watching Kristie as she exercised to even do anything himself, so I was pretty annoyed that he was even in there in the first place just taking up space.

"How about you take a picture?" I couldn't help but tease him, though I did feel a little annoyed with the fact that all he could do was just stare at her when he was supposed to be exercising. "It lasts longer."

"How about you stop being obnoxious?" he snapped back at me, and I rolled my eyes. "You'll be better off."

"I'm obnoxious?" I laughed. "Have you ever met yourself?"

He stuck his tongue out at me and I stuck my tongue right back out at him. Dex rolled his eyes at us. I stuck my tongue out at him next.

He smirked at me. "I'd rather your tongue be somewhere else—"

"Stop," I snapped before he could continue with that statement.

"I'm heading in," Kristie announced, dabbing the sweat off her face with her towel. "I'll be in the shower for a little while, Violet."

"That's fine," I shrugged. "I won't be done for a while anyway."

She smiled at me before making her way out of the exercise room, much to Aiden's chagrin. I really didn't understand boys.

"She's even hot when she's exercising." Aiden groaned as he practically collapsed onto the ground, and I made a face at him. "There's just something about her being all sweaty—"

"I don't need to hear about that," I sighed, cutting him off.

"I get it," Dex shrugged.

I spun on him. "You get it?"

"Why do you think I'm always in here when you're working out?" he asked, and I didn't know if I was supposed to be flattered or grossed out. "You think I enjoy this stuff?"

I didn't know what I was supposed to even say to him. I went into the exercise room to exercise, simple as that. If Dex came in and we ended up making out afterwards, that was just a perk. It wasn't like that was what I wanted going inside...

But Dex was clearly different...

"My powers kind of make exercise too easy for me," he continued. "I come here for the view."

"You really do get it," Aiden blinked, surprised by the fact that Dex of all people understood how he felt. "Though my powers don't make exercising easy for me..."

"You guys actually agree on something," I gasped, mocking surprise. "The world must be coming to an end."

Dex rolled his eyes. "Shut up."

"Why do you even like Kristie so much?" I asked Aiden, but then remembered what Kristie looked like. "I mean, other than the obvious."

He blinked at me. "What's the obvious?"

I rolled my eyes. "Her looks?"

Aiden shrugged, as if the answer should have been obvious as he stood back up. "She's perfect," he said.

"Oh, please," I couldn't help but scoff.

Aiden shook his head. "Really. She's perfect."

I kind of just stared at him for a moment, unable to say anything. The thought of Kristie being anywhere near perfect was just completely ludicrous to me.
