"Sometimes beautiful things come into our lives out of nowhere. We can't always understand them, but we have to trust in them. I know you want to question everything, but sometimes it pays to just have a little faith."

SIR GERARD'S POV

Difficulties.....

They made you and they break you...

Its up to you, how you face them and create yourself or destroy yourself. But it seems to amaze us all how Majesty's life took him. Once a carefree and happy child had became a ruthless cold hearted man.

Life tested him on every step and he fought without fall till he got his honor. He fought to prove himself, to prove he is Worthy, he fought for us, he fought for his people. He vowed to be worthy for his people, for his throne. His family.

His princess.... And he succeeded every time, with a smile on his face but losing satisfaction with every achievement.

No one can see his defeated self but only me. Being with him for his entire life, I didn't only got to know his habits and nature but also I can also see him behind his mask. The once broken and left alone child is still there seeking assurance in the passing by people's eyes, who just turned away with one look of either pity or of disgust.

She never wanted this, she never wanted that to happen to her children.

Once getting the news about Niera, we hurried to the Motel. Each step he took was filled with worry and misery. He was losing control but that was not our main concern but he was losing Hope.

He have suffered a life which raised him to the pinnacle of success yet made him hollow with emotions.

As we took the first step from the entrance, Majesty stopped abruptly. His breathing came as pants and hand went to his chest. Keeping an impassive face hiding my anxiety inside, I took a step toward him and placed my palm over his shoulder, a gesture which silently asked him to have faith.

But when his eyes met mine, dread washed over me leaving me defeated. His eyes had shown me the glimpse of his past. The same eyes with misery and vulnerability seeking assurance in mine.

Years ago, I saw a young boy with a fragile blanket secured in his arms. It was close to his heart and he carried it like his life depends upon it. A small yet strong frame radiating aura of power and authority. Yet when I looked in his eyes, I saw the vulnerability in them. His confident face was high with bravery but his eyes were filled in grief which he was hiding from others.

But then he was ready to stand and tenacious to fight but today....

I averted my eyes from his breaking the contact, not being able to give him any assurance his eyes were searched. Tapping on his shoulders lightly, I stepped ahead to hide my glistering eyes.

Once we reached outside to her room, the tense faces greeted us. Opening the door I waited for him entered but he beckoned me to enter and stayed outside. Nodding I closed the door, giving him the time to collect himself and calm Alpha Royce.
