chapter 1

i walked out of my kook house on figure 8 and walked to my range rover, my father was the richest on the island but he and my mother were abroad most of the time, i havent seen them for half a year. i planned go to the cameron household

i drove towards the large house but when i was driving my phone lit up with kie's name so i picked up the phone.

"heyyy" i said into my phone

"heyo" kie said in a happy tone

"do you think you can help us prepare for agatha?" kie questioned

"i'm so sorry kie i would love to but i'm helping the cameron's" i said gritting my teeth

"of course you are it's always sarah rafe and topper" she said and hung up the phone on me

i sighed and carried on driving, i would deal with her later. i wasn't one of those kooks who had a problem with the pogues i actually really liked them. kie used to be my bestfriend, as well as sarah but then something happened between them and then they went their separate ways and i'm kinda in the middle

i pulled into the driveway of the cameron mansion looking around at the other cars in the drive way to see who was home, the first car i saw was toppers. topper has been my bestfriend since birth. then my eyes came across another vehicle, it was rafes, a rush of excitement flowed through me. i had always had a soft spot for rafe. our family's have been trying to get us married from the day we learned to walk but rafe was always with his sluts which always made me jealous. finally my eyes came across sarah's car a smile crossed my face and i left my car in hope to see my bestfriends again.

i knocked on the door and almost immediately, the door swung open revealing ward, sarah and rafes dad.

"heyy y/n" he said smiling at me pulling me into a hug

"hey ward" i smiled, ward had always been like a dad to me since my father was always abroad, when they first left to go work in other countries this place became my second home, and to be honest i stay here more than i stay in my own home.

"can i stay here tonight? i have always been scared of storms" i shuddered in fear of storm agatha

"sure you can, your always welcome here y/n" he said

i stepped into the door way and immediately saw rafe lurking in a corner of the hall.

"so your scared of the storm?" he said kind of making fun of me

"shut up rafe" i said laughing walking over to him as he pulled me into his arms

i watched rose (sarah and rafes step mum i think) as he saw us hugging and pulled out her camera taking photos of us.

"this one will be perfect for the wedding" she said squealing in excitement

i felt myself blushing as she said those words but i didn't know why i would blush, it never used to bother me because me and rafe would just laugh it off. but today was different, i felt different. when he pulled me into that hug my stomach went crazy. but i ignored this feeling and pulled myself out of the tight embrace.

"bye rafe" i said grinning at him, still blushing

i walked out into the pool area, only to find topper and sarah swimming together looking into each others eyes (sarah and topper are dating)

"stop your making me wanna gag" i said watching them

"y/n! finally your here" sarah said pulling away from her boyfriend to come and hug me

"well you always have rafe to swim with and be all cute with" topper said smirking at me

"wait what?" sarah said turning around and looking at topper, sarah had never liked the thought of me and rafe together because obviously that's her best friend and brother.

"nothing nothing" i said reassuring sarah

topper swam to the edge of the pool and gripped my foot, pulling me into the pool.

"YOU BASTARD" i said screaming at topper because i was still fully clothed

sarah and topper just laughed at me as i climbed out of the pool

"right i'm going to get changed" i declared walking inside

i walked up to my room, i had a room in the cameron house because i was here so often. i took my top off so i was left in my bra, then i heard my bathroom door unlock and rafe walked out shirtless with only a towel around his waist

"rafe!" i said in surprise, covering my topless body, trying not to admire his body

"it's ok y/n" he said laughing " my shower isn't working so i needed to use yours, i wasn't exactly expecting to see this" he said smirking looking me up and down

"rafe cameron" i said in a stern voice as i saw him looking me up and down

"y/n y/s/n" he said trying to imitate my stern tone

"rafe get out" i said laughing at him and throwing a pillow at his head. i kind of didn't want him to leave because he looked so hot

he grinned at me and looked me up and down one more time and the left the room, i smiled to myself and carried on getting changed into my bikini when i heard a knock on the door.

"hello?" i said wondering who it was

"guess who?" the person said from the other side of the door

"rafe cameron" i said smiling "what is it?" i said allowing him to open the door

"topper wants to know if we wanna play chicken with them in the pool?" he said giving me puppy dog eyes

"fine but you better make us win" i said smiling at his puppy dog eyes

we walked down stairs and walked outside, we kept on brushing hands and every time we did i swear i could feel some sort of spark.
