i haven't spoken or seen rafe since the incident with pope, but today i had to. yesterday my parents came home for a surprise visit and we have to go for a dinner with the cameron's to celebrate them coming home. i was starting to get scared because i was developing a baby bump and i still hadn't told sarah, my parents or rafes parents.
"come on y/n get dressed, your dress is on your bed honey" my mum called out to me

i found this dress on my bed, i rolled my eyes at the fact that i even had to wear a dress and the fact that it was starting to get really tight around my stomach. also i didn't know why it had to be so formal, it's only my parents coming home. so what?
i looked through the accessories that i could wear, while looking i came across a necklace that rafe had given me. seeing this brought a tear to my eye but i quickly wiped it away and took out a different necklace.
when everyone was ready we got into the car like we had every time they came home and headed towards tanny hill. as we started driving i felt sick
"dad, i'm gonna hurl" i said holding my mouth shut with my shaky hand
"shit uh we can pull over" he said turning the car into park
as soon as the car was pulled over i ran to the nearest bush and threw up like i had most mornings so this wasn't really a surprise.
"are you ok darling?" my mother asked looking at me in disgust
"fine" i said close to tears, because rafe had always held my hair back when i got morning sickness
"well let's get going" my dad said sighing and looking at his watch
"god we are going to be late! what will they think of us" my mother said getting back into the car giving me a disappointed look that i had delayed the journey
we finally arrived after a while of driving. i took a deep breath as my dad knocked on the door and rafe opened it, his eyes immediately flickered to me. i saw him raise his eye brow and smirk a little bit seeing my outfit, which made me roll my eyes and walk past him into the house making sure i barged him with my shoulder.
"sorry we are late, y/n was sick" my mum said to rose, this made rafe give me a guilty look.
"oh! dear, are you ok?" rose asked me putting her hand on my shoulder which made me smile because when my parents saw me puking they just rolled their eyes
we stood around talking to one another but me and rafe just stood awkwardly when it was our turn to talk to eachother, i saw wheezie raise a eye brow at me from the corner of my eye.
"y/n!" i heard sarah say, running down the stairs
"sarah!" i said running to her and pulling her into a tight hug
"it's been forever!" she said looking at me "why didn't you come here? your normally here all the time" she said smiling at me
"uh i don't know i've just been busy" i replied smiling back at her
"come on guys we need to eat!" ward said patting my back
we sat at the massive dining table, non surprisingly i sat on the head of the table on one side and rafe sat at the head on the other side, this meant i was sitting directly opposite him. our parents started talking about the future they want for each one of their kids.
"y/n, rafe it won't be long until you two have kids of your own!" my mum said smiling at us which made me blush uncontrollably because we are having a child but no one knew except wheezie, topper and the pogues.
the food came and we starting digging in, i finished quickly because obviously i was eating for two, but i tried to slow it down so no one would suspect anything. but then i felt a kick into my stomach which made me gasp, i had never felt the baby kick before.
"you ok y/n?" sarah asked laughing because i had just gasped while everything was silent
"can i be excused?" i asked looking at ward
"of course but don't be too long!" ward said smiling at me
i gave him a awkward smile back and walked out, i headed straight outside and sat by the pool dipping my feet in. until i heard footsteps coming up from behind me, i assumed this was sarah.
"sarah!" i said turning around, only to discover it was rafe
"guess again" he said with a uneasy laugh
"oh" i said my face dropping
"why'd you leave?" he asked curiously
"the baby kicked" i said looking down at my feet in the water
"oh shit" he said excitedly
"yeah" i said with a awkward smile
"can i?" he asked moving his hand to my stomach, gesturing that he wanted to feel it. i nodded at him and he moved his hand to my stomach.
"i can feel him!" he said smiling a massive smile which made me blush
"him?" i asked because we didn't know the gender
"oh right i think it's going to be a boy, well i want to have a boy" he said rubbing the back of his neck
"right" i said smiling awkwardly again
we sat in silence for a while just looking into the water before us, until he broke the silence.
"i'm sorry" he said turning his head to me
"i know" i said looking him in his eyes
"can you forgive me please, it was a stupid thing to do i'm sorry i should have never hurt your frien-" he said, he didn't get to finish his sentence because i cut him off by pushing my lips to touch his.
"does this mean your not mad anymore?" he asked between kisses
"yes, but don't push your luck" i said smiling, still kissing the cameron boy
i heard a gasp from behind us, i quickly pulled away from rafe to see who gasped. i saw sarah, she stood there looking at us both with a look of pure shock on her angelic face
"sarah i can explain" i said nervously walking towards her
"no" she said, she sounded betrayed
"please sarah" i said, tears forming in my eyes. but before i could finish she ran upstairs away from me and rafe.
