"i need to clean her off and then you can have her again" the nurse said smiling at us
"ok" i said watching her take my baby to the side of the room
"you should sleep, you did such a good job but promise me that we can talk about what happened after" rafe said gazing at me
"ok" i said, rolling over so i wasn't facing him anymore

after a few minutes i noticed that y/n was asleep, i smiled at her because of how beautiful she looked while she slept.
"is she ready yet?" i asked the nurse
"yes do you want to hold her?" she asked offering the baby to me
"yeah" i said grinning at the baby
"ok" she said handing me her
i looked down at her, she had my bright blue eyes and my blonde hair but she had all of y/ns other perfect features.

i sat down in the chair next to the hospital bed and continued to smile at the baby and rock her.

i woke up and i was about to turn around and see my baby and rafe but as i was going to i heard rafe start talking to her.
