5 am. Ten minutes before the police truck, escorted by two police cars drives through the Plains. And of course, the Plains had to be a desert with no hiding place whatsoever.

"This is truly humiliating. We should've learned how to drive if we knew we would be in this position right now." Bitching like always, Black Lynx was in her best form. The two of them were finally about to have a driver.

"Hey stop taking off your helmet! Safety first."

"Ha. You're one to talk we're literally about to hijack police cars and kill them all and you're talking about safety? You sound stupid right now Shadow."

Stopping at their destination, in the middle of the desert, the pair got out of the tandem bicycle. The two of them were ready. Dynamites filled Shadows pockets while two glocks were reposing in Black Lynx's jeans back pockets. The Lynx wasn't the most happiest about not using her favourite dagger. But a murder in moving cars would be truly a disaster if she was to use a simple little dagger.

To wait for the cars unseen, the two of them blew up a hole to fit perfectly their whole bodies.

5:10 am. Hearts racing fast, the mission was pretty simple, but meeting another psyco killer teen girl like them exited their heads. Grew up in a suburban naive little town, no one was like them. They were misfits of their own kind.

5:11 am.

"What the fuck." Shadows heart was racing, but not in a good way anymore. Her plans and calculations were always right. Why hasn't the cars passed?

"Lynx what do we do?"

"You were the master of this plan at first. Stop panicking. We gotta change it now. I say we go out. I know this is dangerous, but it's the only way to verify. I'll go first."

Their hearts were pounding loud now, a change of plan had never really occurred in the past. It was a thrill for sure, but the two of them felt bad after getting exited over danger. They needed to stay in the dark. It's their best way to survive.

Black Lynx got out the hole and at her surprise, the police cars were just a few meters away from the hole.

"They stopped. It seems like an accident. Maybe the timer was set on the first car causing her to crash into the other two behind."

Getting out of the hole too, Shadow took a quick look at the scene and said: "no, this isn't my timer bomb. By the look of it, this accident wasn't caused by a malfunction of the front wheels. ...I can't see very clearly we gotta go. This might be our chance. Babys probably escaping right now."

In stressful situations, the pair knew how to keep their calm and continue moving. They ran, but not at their maximum, to conserve their energy if they needed later. Also, they didn't need to move faster than wind, these policemen weren't the sharpest shooters out there and at this moment, they're probably panicking.

Black Lynx was taking the lead, she was the one who were going to shoot first, protecting her friend while she gets the driver. Moving like a cougar, guns in both of her hands, the heart beating fast, this moment right there was the reason of living for Black Lynx, murdering psyco.

These sweet sweet seconds were cut short with an arrow.

A. Fucking. Arrow.

Why would there be an arrow pointing right at the Lynx, faster than 80km/h? Black Lynx couldn't even see well the scene, she couldn't see an archer, or any person, it was all blurred. So, why? Who can shoot like this? Black Lynx, the one with an extraordinary vision, couldn't see who was shooting at her.
