His cold ice blue eyes
Filled with something resembling fire
Filled with hope and promises
With everything and nothing
Fading like smoke
Taken by a breeze
I stood tears staining my cheeks
All the memories overwhelming
Filled with love and passion
Though in the end lies was all I saw
Drowning in sorrow denial and anger
The voices ever so loud
"Take a drink!"
"Take a blade!"
"Take a bath in the blood filled sea."
Her eyes the same color as the misty autumn leaves
Filled with a fire burning with love hope and trust
Her lips full and pink telling me
"Don't listen to them
Focus on me
Put down the bottle
Put down the blade
Stop holding on
And just be held."
