An empty hoodie

Countless times

Had she seen him walk by

Pushing her so she fell

Kicked her so she hurt

Spat on her so she was humiliated

And laugh a dark empty laugh

A laugh that made her shiver

A laugh that sounded like it wasn't real

He always wore a hoodie

She never saw his face

Finally one day she pulled

At the hood of his hoodie

And when it was pulled down

She expected to see his face

Instead she was met with

A cold empty void

And it turned out

The hoodie had always been empty

And he was simply a figment of her imagination

He was a potray of the voices inside of her head

He was a potray of her inner demons

He didn't really exist

He was simply an empty hoodie
