A fall of death

Burnt skin was all I smelled

Filling my nostrils with the stench

As I woke from my unconscious state

My arms red bloody and burned

Marked forever

The wounds stung

Burnt skin and ashes stuck to the flesh

I hissed like the fire I had used

When I cleaned the burned skin

My teeth clenched

My eyes tearing

I took the now black metal

Washed it cleaned it and hid it away

A tear ran down my cheek

As I remembered no one noticed it

Noticed my screams

Noticed my cry's

Noticed my pain

I opened a window And looked down

A five story jump

Maybe that would kill me

I took the crumpled letter

I'd written long ago

I laid it upon the fireplace

And climbed out the window

I stood on the stairs looking down

I gulped loudly and swung one leg over

I swung the other too and soon I followed

I fell down fast

No yells were heard

No scream of fear

I fell towards the concrete

And my world fell black

'Goodbye everyone. I'm sorry if I made you sad.'

My last thoughts were blurred

And the last I felt was relieve
