Staring Down

I shed tears of blood,

Every once in a while

People stare back judging,

And my mouth fills with bile

I discombobulate,

People don't understand

I laugh at the irony,

And they think my brain's made of sand

My mind is not on Earth,

It lives up in the stars

Humans think I'm crazy,

Because on Tuesdays I'm on Mars

Everything seems so pointless,

When you think of things this grand

You think the sea will never end,

Until you hit that land

Don't others ever think,

How on Earth can we all exist?

Or am I the only one,

Wondering who gave us this bliss?

When I come back to Earth,

I look back up and see,

All those judging people,

Staring back at me

Then all I do is smile,

And laugh at their small minds

Knowing that one day,

I'll leave them all far behind
