Three students had just finished their school time and were on their way to go to their respective homes.
These three students were Shinji Ikari, Asuka Langley Soryu and Rei Ayanami. They are the pilots of Evangelion, mankind's last hope to fend themselves from the beings called the Angels.
Shinji and Asuka as always, were fighting against one another. But Rei herself is as quiet as usual. Both Shinji and Asuka are puzzled by this but they were used to it.
Both of them did not know this but Rei is secretly a clone from Yui Ikari's, Shinji's mother, DNA and from the second Angel, Lilith's, the mother of all living beings on Earth, DNA. Commander Gendo Ikari and Sub-Commander Kouzou Fuyutsuki of NERV had also insert Lilith's soul inside of Rei, making her a vessel for Lilith.
As they continued walking on sideways, all of a sudden Rei got sucked in a dirt hole. "Ayanami!" Shinji screamed as he lend his for Rei to reached, but it was too late. Rei felt deeper into the void and it was the last time she saw their faces ever again before entering to a new world.....
"Ikari-kun," Rei said as she closed her eyes.
