A few days later...

On the second floor of the main area of the Rosenblade Manor lies a certain room

The room was spacious, as most of the other rooms were. Being the only difference was the peaceful ambiance that the room was exuding as the morning sunlight gleams through its windows

In the middle of the room was a whiteboard with a few chalk pieces that were placed in it. and across the board was a table that had multiple books of a wide variety of subjects that were stacked atop each other

One glance at the books would tell an ordinary Citizen of the Empire that it is of the highest quality, one that is written by the wisest of scholars across the world

Sitting on one of the chairs was Lia, who was waiting patiently as she sips from the lukewarm tea that is across her. she took a glance at her pocket watch and felt a bit annoyed when she saw the time

"He's late..."

Today was supposed to be the first day of their lesson, and yet Raiden was an hour late. Her master had assured her that she had passed on the message, so this meant that the issue was with him

Lia stood up and was about to walk to his room but was interrupted by the opening of the door

"...Are you kidding me?"

Standing there was Raiden, who was wearing his usual black garments with his sword at the side. He was staring at Lia with a baffled expression as he entered the room

"That should be my line. If the future family head couldn't even attend something without being this tardy, then I honestly fear for the people of this city"

He seemed to be a bit annoyed by this but immediately calmed down

"I was late because of the pure ridiculousness of this situation. A maid is supposed to be my instructor? I mean, you seriously couldn't blame me for thinking that this was some sort of prank"

"If it was an ordinary maid then I guess it would be one, But I'm not exactly an ordinary maid...we've wasted an hour already, so could we please begin already?"

She signaled Raiden to take the nearby seat, he was still reluctant but took it anyways

"Now then..."

Lia stretched her fingers as she walks near the board

"You may still have doubts about this situation, but rest assured, my lord. I may not compare to the scholars that have taught you in the past, but as a Victorian maid, I possess an adequate amount of knowledge and reputation that makes me more than qualified to teach you"

The sound of the chalk resonated in the room as Lia speaks

"And with that in mind. It'll be my pleasure to temporarily be your teacher on History, Mathematics, Language, and social etiquette. I hope that you would be a bit more COOPERATIVE with me, unlike with the others, ok? "

A smug expression appeared on Lia's face as she basically tells him "You don't have a choice in this, little boy"

And Raiden could only feel a sense of humiliation as she mocks him without having the ability to fight back

"...Alright, you do you. I'll be good"

"That would be lovely. We'll focus on one topic per day as with the order of my introduction, so let's start with history"

Lia took a book from the table titled "Imperial History Volume One" and opened it

"I'll first ask you a few questions to see how much do you know"
