Luffy x Suicidal! Chubby Reader

(A/N: yes this is a Soulmate AU where your soulmate can kiss the scar to go away)

Luffy's POV

There's a new member I recruited and her name is Satoshi D. (Y/N), she is a chubby girl who loves to read books like Robin does. Well she's not a archeologist but she's pretty much on the strategy side, she joined after Sabo and I reunited. (Y/N) was a Revolutionary Army but then she joined us for being a pirate, (Y/N) ate the Neko Neko no mi, Zoan Type, Cheetah. She can run a mile within seconds, so it is really great for us for stealing treasures and stuff. But one thing I noticed (A/n: yes Luffy can notice things!) is that (Y/N) always wear long sleeves, even when it is hot outside. She never took off such hot clothing, I was suspicious.

"(Y/N)-chan! Why do you always wear long sleeves in a such hot day?"Nami asked her and (Y/N) smiled

"I-I'm used to it...."(Y/N) said as I looked at her

"Really, (Y/N)? You're sweating so much though"Zoro pointed out which made (Y/N) looking at him and began to wipe her sweat with a smile, Nami and Robin are in cool clothing, we all are except for (Y/N).

"You really need to change, (Y/N)-chwan! You'll pass out anytime soon!"Sanji said as I nodded

"Yeah! Listen to Sanji, (Y/N)! Let's go and you can change!"I said as I grabbed her arm which she winced a bit for me to hear, I blinked and she pry her arms and just walk to the girl's room.

"Now look what you did!"Nami said as she punched me and I was confused

"I didn't even do anything, I swear!"I said and she scoffed

"You should apologize to her, Luffy! She looks annoyed"Chopper said as I sighed and nodded, but I did nothing wrong though.

"Sure but Sanji! I want a snack! Me and (Y/N) will come back if your done preparing it!"I said and he nods while I walked to where the girl's room is

3rd Person's POV

While Luffy walked towards the girl's room, Robin was worried. She knew (Y/N) was suicidal since she arrived in the crew, only Robin knows it.

"You look kind of worried, Robin"Nami said who took notice of Robin's quiet demanor, well she usually is but this time, it's too quiet

"If you're worrying over Luffy and (Y/N), you shouldn't. I'm sure Luffy will apologize"Sanji said as Robin looks at their cook and sighed

"I guess...."Robin said which made Usopp and Chopper looking at her, Franky was in for another invention, while Zoro is training after Luffy walked out of the scene. Meanwhile, Luffy was singing his song, yet again. He stops when he arrived in front of the door of the girl's room, Luffy didn't think through and walked in completely.

"(Y/N), I came here to apologize....oh you're changing-----"Luffy paused himself to scan (Y/N)'s body, being a chubby girl in the crew did not help her at all. (Y/N) widened her eyes as she can tell that she is heating up, then she covers herself up as Luffy notices the bruises all over her wrists

"G-get out, Seinchou!"she said as she was about to throw things at him but Luffy walked towards (Y/N), she widened her eyes as she backed up from the wall.

"(Y/N).....what happened to your arms?"Luffy asked which made (Y/N) covering it with the blanket of hers, Luffy kept leaning on (Y/N)'s face which made her back against the wall

"I-I-I.....Luffy....pl-please just get out...."(Y/N) said and Luffy's stomach grumbled as both looked at Luffy's stomach, (Y/N) smiled nervously and made an excuse for Luffy to leave but he refused like a kid.
