"You know we are on and off, but we were doing good for a month and then ghosted me" she chuckled shaking her head
As she applied glue to her lashes, Jewel added, "Get you with a cute Compton boy."
"Oh please, Lani, you're real quiet," India murmured, looking at me.
Jewel squinted her eyes at me and added, "Don't tell me, Lani found herself a Compton boy."
"It's nothing like that," I said trying to tell my business, either way, it wasn't really anything going on besides two people getting to know each other
"Hmm, and he's a tattoo artist," India, who was standing next to the window sparkling her blunt, stated with a grin.
"I only know two tattoo artists from here, chino and Eli" Jewel said thinking for a min "and we've been more around Eli.... wait for its eli" Jewel gasps, and India nodded her head
"It's nothing serious, just friends" I simply said
"that's what everyone says," Jewel said as she placed her lashes on and I just skimmed through my phone, today I had a date with Elijah and I was a little anxious. I arrived early at my grandmother's place so that we could go to the nail salon and get our nails and toes done. As we waited for India to finish her blunt
"Have you planned an outfit for this date, Lani?" India questioned after she had finished her blunt.
"I brought a variety of options," I stated as I stood up and showed them my options.
"Do you know what y'all doing?" jewel asked as she slipped her slides on
"He simply said to be ready by six," I explained as I stuffed my clothes back into my bag.
"Knowing Elijah, he'll definitely take you somewhere chill," India replied as we all walked downstairs and saw a slumped Chris with his arm on his forehead.
As we climbed into Jewel's car, she asked, "Are we heading to Lee or Shaniqua?"
"You know Shaniqua, it's really the spot; she'll have you walk out like a goddess," India added, and I simply chuckled. Shaniqua and her girls had the hands of god, they be scrubbing your feet very nice.

"Can you tell me how many appointments I have tomorrow?" I questioned my receptionist Violet
"It's going to be a slow day tomorrow; you have an appointment with Chris at 10 a.m. and another at 3 p.m., and that's it," she remarked, as I looked at my phone schedule.
"See if you can reschedule the appointment from 3 to 1," I suggested, and she nodded, dialing the person's number and I returned to my station. It was already 2 p.m., so I only had one more appointment in 30 minutes before I was done for the day. Tomorrow I was trying to leave early because I had a flight to New York for my mother's birthday on Monday.
"Eli, the person said that it's fine at one" I nodded "so you have one at 10 and another one at 1" I thank her and she left
I got my station ready and waited for my client to arrive. When I finished, I took my phone out and called my mom
