I brought her to a flower farm in South Cotabato. It's Mindanao's Hidden Paradise, they said. It's our anniversary today and I thought, why not celebrate it here? Being surrounded with something she loves taking care of (that includes me), I'm sure she'll enjoy. Thank God she said yes even without knowing where I'm taking her.
I stared at her as she scanned the whole place. Looking at the rows of flowers separated by color. She looks so happy. I love it whenever she is.
After a minute of her just roaming her eyes around the place, she finally turned to me, teary eyed and said, "It's so beautiful, Jass. Ang ganda."
I wouldn't know that, sunshine. I've been looking at you.
"I know. You love it?"
"So much."
I held her waist and pulled her closer to me, kissing the top of her head.
"Knew it. Now let's not waste time and enjoy the place."
