"Excuse me Mam.. please show me your passport." The checking officer asked her.

She showed her passport.

"Mam, your name." He asked her

"Dev.. Deva Hasini." She stammered.

Time skips...

She settled in the seat.

The stewards were explaining about the safety measures but Deva Hasini was immersed in her own thoughts.

"Hii..." Someone said, She turned head to the left to find a man who was in his early 30s.

Deva Hasini smiled a bit.

"I'm Melvin." He introduced himself.

"Deva Hasini." She replied.

"Miss or Mrs." He asked while raising his eyebrows.

"Miss." She replied.

"Cool." He said with a smirk.

"Excuse me, this is my seat." A lady voice interrupted.

Now a lady who was in her late 50s sat beside Deva Hasini.

Deva Hasini closed her eyes.

8 months before......

She was crying madly seeing her Linda maa( mother).

Suddenly she noticed someone coming inside the home.

She was fuming in anger after seeing them.

She went towards that person and slapped him hard.

Everyone gasped.

"Why did you come now? Who asked you to come? Where were you all these days? Where were you when your mother was yearning to meet you? You were busy with your projects ,thesis and studies as if you're the only person studying. You had time to spend with your so-called girlfriends but you didn't have time to spend with your mother." She questioned him with her teary eyes.

All the relatives, even his father, didn't utter a single word.

She started to beat him on his chest.

"Why? Why? Why didn't you come on time? Why did you do this to her?" She asked him.

She was beating him continuously but he didn't do anything to stop her.

After a minute she lost consciousness.

The Maid came and took that girl to her room.

After two hours she opened her eyes and came out of her room.

"Madame, everyone is waiting for you." A maid came and informed her.

She nodded her head and went to the car.

Everyone went to the cemetery to perform the last rituals of Linda.

She cried her heart out once again after seeing Linda being buried.

Everyone returned home.

She went to her room without talking to anyone.

All the relatives left.

Someone knocked on her room door and came inside.

"Madame, your dinner." A maid told me.

"I don't want to eat." She said weekly while burying her face in the pillow
