CHAPTER 5

DOGGO'S POV

"MR.LEYVA, Stand up." Sir Gupit told me to stand up.

"What is ANATOMY?" He asked me.

"Anatomy is a study of a human body." I answered.

"Good." He said and write down the score in his record book."MR. Takahashi, stand up."

"Sir." Leon stands up and waiting for the teacher to ask him a question.

"What is Parasitism?"He ask Leon.

"Parasitism is when one organism benefits at the expense of the other." Leon answered his question.

"Very good." Sir Gupit smiles at him and write down the score in the record book."MR. ALCANTARA?" He asked Dark. But as I turn around I saw Dark was sitting in the chair and, asleep.

Why is he asleep?

"MR. VASQUEZ ?" Sir Gupit called him.

"Hey dude. Wake up." I woke him up but he is still asleep.

Gagawa sana ako ng paraan to wake him up but suddenly when I saw Leon holding his notebook at hinampas niya ang ulo ng bestfriend ko.

"Aaooww!!" Dark shout in pain. Hinawakan niya ulo niya at inaangat ang ulo niya at masama ang tingin niya kay Leon. I laughed. "What the heck is wrong with you?" He ask Leon angrily. Our classmates laugh at him.

"Bro tinawag ka ni sir kanina hindi ka sumagot, your asleep." Leon answer.

"Ohh...sorry po sir." He apologize to sir Gupit who is mad at him already.

"What is Excretion?" Sir ask Dark a question with a anger tone.

Kunot-noo si Dark. "I don't know sir.." He answered.

"Yes because your sleeping!" Sigaw ni sir sa kanya at lumingon sa mga kaklase namin. "Anyone??" He said to other classmates who wants to volunteer to answer his queston, but no one wants.
"No one?? Mga senior high school na kayo at hindi niyo alam ang Excretion??"
He said angrily to us.

" Sir." Our classmate calls him while raising her hand.

"What is Excretion?" He ask our classmate.

"Excretion is all living organisms can excrete waste products. These are products that the organism no longer needs."

"Very good!" He said unbelievably but angrily. "Narinig niyo yung sinabi niya kanina ha?! Magbibigay ako sa inyo ng essay 500 words! Galit asik niya sa amin. "Sa susunod na matutulog ka sa klase ko, LEAVE MY CLASS!!" He shouted at Dark angrily as he is pissed. "CLASS DISMISS!" He bring his record book and walks out.

"Hays kasalanan moto eh!" Our classmate who raised her hand to sir said angrily.

"Salamat Dark ha? First day of school, pinahirapan mona kami! Our other classmate said to him.

"Gago kung hindi ka sana natulog hindi sana nagbibigay si Sir ng essay, ayan tuloy! Our another classmate from the back complain.

Umalis na ang mga kaklase ko at kami naman ang huling lumabas sa classroom namin at naglalakad pauwi. "Why are you sleeping bro?" I turn around and look at Leon who asked Dark.

"He is a sleeping beauty." I laugh at him and sinamaan man ako ng tingin ni Dark.

"Tsh.." Ngumusong asik niya while we're walking outside the campus.

Ganyan si Dark. He sometimes sleeping in the classroom during discussion nung high school pa kami, minsan nga ay batohin siya ng chalk or marker para magising siya. I laugh at him that time his face gets grumpy kung tumawa kami dalawa ni Leon. But mas malaking tumawa si Leon than me,while ako naman ay sakto lang.

Naglalakad kami palabas ng gate sa school namin at kumaway kaming naglalakad pauwi.

DARK'S POV

"I'm home." I said to my brother nang umuwi ako.

"Hey brother." He said while smiling.

"Hey there, kanina kapa?" I said while smiling at him.

"Kakauwi ko lang galing work, how's school brother? He asked me. My brother is a CD Lawyer who specializes in defending individuals, organizations, and entities charged with crimes, and a Business Lawyer. He also sometimes picks me up when he is not busy kaya umuwi ako dito mag isa gamit ng motor ko.

Umupo naman ako sa sofa at namulsang tumingin sa floor. " Nahh, I'm fine."

"I see, bihis muna ako." sabi niya at umakyat sa taas.

"Mmm." Asik ko. I lean my head to the sofa at tumingin sa taas. Napaisip ako kung anong dinidiscuss ni sir Gupit sa amin about sa Science. I sometimes sleep inside the classroom whenever if I'm bored, hindi ko kasi alam na nag discuss na pala siya about Anatomy and Physiology cause I only remember na pumasok siya sa classroom namin at pumikit ang aking mata and I asleep. Hindi ako ganito nung elementary ako kundi high school until now. I was active at school back then but when I grew up as a teenager it slows me down and makes me unstable.

I went to the kitchen to cook some foods for dinner and nag prepare, good timing that my brother also went down from stairs na nakapambahay na sinuot niya.

"Brother kain na tayo." I said while smiling at him.

"Sige." Asik niya after he sat and nagsimula na kami kumain.

Naalala ko nung sinabihan niya yung bestfriend ko ng payat at gago and gwapo daw siya kasi he is the son of the owner of SPUS. I didn't know that.

Hambog, bully pa nga, hambog pa nga, tsh..

"When is your duty again?" I asked him while eating.

"Friday." He respond.

"I see, how's the case?" I asked about the case he coped up.

"Still finding some evidences and proofs, mahirap." He sighed.

"Mmm, how long can you handle this case?"

He stopped swallowing, wondering."Maybe 5 or 6 days." He said.

"I see." Asik ko.

"How's you're school?" He asked, I stunned.

I put my spoon back to its position in the plate and I sighed. " Not good." I respond. First day of class made me a bad day cause of what happenede before. I dont like how they treat my bestfriend kanina.

I stand up in the chair at namulsang naglalakad papuntang kitchen para mag toothbrush. After that I go upstairs and going inside my bedroom. Nag ayos muna ako ng mga gamit ko sa bag and I lie down. Naalala ko nung nagtama ang paningin namin kanina ng babaeng yun sa hallway at sa canteen, especially yung ngiti niya kanina.

Maganda ka nga..pero ang ngiti mo nakakainis..

Naalala ko nung nakaraan nung ngiti ng babaeng nahulog ako ng sobra sa kanya since grade 10. She was beautiful too and mabait naman yun, but it turns out nilaro pala ako nun even if HINDI KAMI. But, past is past, there is nothing I can do about it.

Dahan-dahan ko naman pumikit ang mata ko hanggat sa makatulog na ako for good.
