Beyond His Green Eyes

Mallika's pov....

The only thing i remembered is sleeping on his shoulder and then i got a big setback , when i opened my eyes i got to know that we have been hit by a car , i looked at sumedh he was trying to get off the car and was trying to get me out too but i was too weak to help him , i was hardly able to keep my eyes open and then my eyes closed again it went all blank ....

And after that i am here in this room , i don't know where i am , this is not my home nor its my mother's home then where am i .... I looked beside and found sumedh sleeping beside me , he had bandage on his head and arm , i went closer to him and kept my hand on cheek , thank God we are still alive i prayed inside my heart .... I then decided to get out of the bed and check where we ... I got off the bed and went towards the door of the room which was closed it's then my eyes felt on the clock hanging on the wall , it showed 8 :00 am

I then opened the door and went out and the scenario infront of me was just unbelievable, it seemed i am in a 5 star hotel but it was house , full furnished house ! I then observed the house carefully and trying to find anyone who can tell me where am I , the room where i was on top floor and so i climbed down the stairs ..

" Is anyone here ?" I asked little loud but didn't got any answer , i started walking towards the hall and it was then i heard someone's foot steps

" Ohh you are up , good morning" an old male voice came from one of the room from upstairs.... And soon a man probably in his late 40's appeared and i don't know why i was feeling as if i know him

" Where am I ?" I asked him

" You didn't recognised me ?" He asked me back and started approaching towards me i started him for few seconds and then i realised that i actually know him yet i don't know him

" Dad ?" I called an he happily nodded yes and then he came downstairs and stood right infront of me

" Aren't you happy to meet your dad once again after a long time?" He asked

" You still remembered me ?" I asked him , like he is here infront of me after almost 17 years , i didn't even know that he was still alive , in this many years he didn't even tried to contact me , he didn't bother to know how we are struggling to live , though i don't like my mom because she always try to set limits for me but she was an inspiration too... After dad left us she worked alone so that i can complete my education, it was very difficult time for both of us and at that time he never even came to us , even to see us then why right now ?

" Ofcourse i remembered i am your father , and i missed to so much " he said making me shock like hell

" You missed me ? Really " i asked

" Yes i did " he answered

" Then where were you from this many years ? Why you left us ? " I asked

" I know you are upset from me for leaving you alone with your mother, i tried to take your custody but at that time i didn't had any job and so court didn't gave me your custody " he said while bowing his down

" The last i remembered is that you and mom had fight and from that you went in your car and i never saw you again " i replied

" Yes we had fight , your mother i loved her , we studied together in college and since there i fell for her but she had bad habit to control everything, and i just couldn't make up with that , that dad i lost my job and she scolded me though it was not my fault , i lost my job because of her , she forced me to join that company because it was near to our home and i didn't wai to work there , i even got offers from other companies but she didn't wanted me to work in any other company just because that company was near to our house and i could come back home early , i wasn't getting enough money there and i also had too look after you but she didn't understood that and i worked there but because of that i was not able to work properly in that company and your mother had very high expectations from me and my income she would brought expensive clothes and things and we go lack of money at the end of year and one day they fired me at that time she scolded me that because i didn't work properly they fired me and now we don't have any money , i now could bear that and so we got separated " he informed and i completely understand about mom's behaviour but that doesn't mean that he would leave us like that , any other solution could be brought

" But see after leaving her , i worked in the company i dreamt of and see where am I today , i am rich , i have everything now which i didn't had " he said with a proud smile

" But you lost family , you lost me what is use of this wealth without family ?" I asked

" I know i lost you , but i didn't lost my family , i live here with my wife Clara " he informed

" Ohh , so you have children too ?" I asked

" Ohh no, you are my only child " he replied

" But you also left me , the time you left mom " i replied and his face turned pale

" So you don't consider me as your dad ?" He asked after a few seconds of silence

" I am not sure , i don't even know you properly " i answered

" Mallika " i suddenly heard sumedh's voice and i looked upstairs he was standing there with confused face before i could say anything he started approaching us and soon he was right beside me looking at me and dad confusingly

" Umm.... Sumedh, he is Rohan Singh my dad " i informed and he was shocked to hear that but that shared a genuine smile with him and both did handshake

" Sumedh mudhgalkar right " dad asked and sumedh nodded

" Well are you both engaged ?" Dad asked and we nodded no after getting glace of eachother

" Relationship?" He asked further and sumedh nodded yes

" Ohh well that's good , you guys can rest for a while and then i will call you for breakfast once it is ready " dad said

" No , thank you but i think we are all fine and i guess we should leave now " i instantly replied him and looked at sumedh who was totally confused what is happening

" Mallika, i know you hate me but please don't leave , i have got to meet you after a long time please let me spend sometime with you , with my daughter please, i have been missing you so much please don't take this opportunity from me , let me show that how much i love you " he insisted but i was still not sure if i should stay here or not , though he is my father but he is still like a stranger to me ... I looked at sumedh he just firmly held my hand and nodded yes and for some unknown reason i also felt to give him a chance and so i agreed to stay here for some time, it was then i and sumedh went upstairs in our room....

I am totally confuse how my life turned upside down, i remembered mom used to scold me a lot whenever I talked of dad , i don't know if she even know that he is alive and is living such a wealthy life , i was thinking all this suddenly i felt a spark of sensation on neck and then to my entire body ..

" Calm down , Every thing will be okay " sumedh said while nuzzling near my neck  , i was feeling damn butterflies in my stomach as he placed a kiss on my soft spot which he knows about...

I turned around and hugged him tightly...

" I don't know what is happening, i don't know if i can trust him or not , why is he here after so many years, he don't know how much i have struggled for a father's shed which i never got after he left us and now he want to show me how much he loves me !?" I cried but sumedh didn't spoke anything and kept rubbing his palm on my back and then he placed a kiss on my head

" I understand, i asked you to stay here because i know how it feels without father but life has given you a chance to meet your dad again which i will never get , i promise if feel uncomfortable then will leave from here that same second but please give him a chance " sumedh requested and i nodded yes ....
