We were alone.

"What about the store? We're still open." I said in a breathy voice, Johnny's gaze still not breaking mine. I'm pretty sure I was still panting out loud from our encounter in the stacks just a moment ago.

"I locked up."

His tone had changed. Dark, demanding... and so, so sexy. I felt my insides clench unwillingly, the burning heat building within me spreading like wildfire through my veins.

"What about the security cameras? Won't the others see us...?"

"We don't have any cameras, sweetheart," he said shortly.

"What about—"

"Lucy." Johnny's tone was firm, but gentle. "We don't have to do anything you don't want to do." He was standing several feet away from me, that same soft smirk on his face, starting to loosen his tie.

Fuck, he looks so good. I wanted him to come closer to me. I wanted to feel his skin on my skin. I can't think of a single thing that I don't want to do with you. My face flushed immediately at the thought.

"Lucy, I..." Johnny sighed, leaning back against his desk as he ran his fingers through his disheveled locks. "If this is too much... if it's too soon... you and Jess..." his voice trailed off, peering into my eyes, waiting for my answer to his unspoken question.
