During the long ride back to Norway Rebekah watched the Viking King and his Christian friend. She could barley believe her eyes as she watched them trade stories, secrets and fur blankets. Over her millennia long life, Rebekah had tried to limit her interactions with the Christian god and his followers. She thought back, or forward, to her interactions with Father Kieran in St. Anne's Church.

"Are you even catholic?"
"Of course not. I am viking."
...
"I doubt even your god could save me." Rebekah spat.

Upon returning to their hut in Kattegat the Originals were able to speak more freely:

"If this demon brings Finn back from the dead, I am going to send him straight back to Hel." Kol promised.

That night, Kol dragged three compelled locals into the hut for them to eat:
"I only eat vampires." Mikael reminded them.
"Well, your not eating us, so take it or starve." Kol remarked.

Of course, there was a feast to celebrate everyone's safe return. During the festivities, the Mikaelsons had split off - Kol staying with Floki as he greatly enjoyed the crazy man's stories whilst Rebekah went to monitor Thorunn.

However, whilst the young blonde northerner was seemingly unattended, one lone male Viking decided to approach the obviously unwed, beautiful blonde visitor.

Kol sensed the man's unwanted touches through his and Rebekah's vampire enhanced twin bond. Mikael felt his son freeze his movements in bringing the cup of mead up to his lips. The Mikaelson patriarch looked from across the table just in time to see his son's eyes darken. "Kol, what's wrong?"
However, Mikael never received an answer. Mikael's eyes followed Kol's figure deeper into the crowd of the great hall before his vampire hearing picked up on his daughter's voice.

"I said no. Step away or you will not like how you are removed."

In their own timeline, Rebekah would simply kill anyone who dared annoy her let alone try to take advantage of her but she was too scared to make another change to this timeline.

The man simply laughed into her neck intending on continuing his assault as his hand roamed higher up her ribcage.

"She's not joking, you know."

The man was interrupted by Kol's threatening tone as he leaned up against the pillar Rebekah was pressed against.

"Now now Kol, don't take my fun from me when it is mine rightfully so."
"Then why haven't you done it yet?" Her twin challenged. Rebekah sent him a quick flash of their conversation on not changing anything else; before telepathically saying 'What if he turns out to be important?'
Kol looked at the man studying him 'He was here alone, no one has looked at him or his actions. I don't think he'll be important.'
'Well then.' Rebekah moved her hand to the middle of the man's chest and pushed him back with surprising strength for a human 17 year old shield maiden. Kol drew a smirk, repressing a laugh at the surprise on the man's face. "Told you so." Rebekah said gleefully.

Unsurprisingly, Rebekah's display of strength drew a few others' attention. Their father who had slowly begun making his way over to them, as soon as he heard Rebekah's voice, reached them first. "Twins? Problem?"
"Currently taking care of it." Rebekah simply replied not taking her darkening eyes off her attacker.

Ragnar and Aslaug were next to come see what the problem was.

Speaking to her father, the man asked "How much do you want for her?"
"Not enough money in the world." All three vampires replied simultaneously with Rebekah rolling her eyes.

"He offended your family, you people are visitors to this town. I'll let you decide how you want to punish him. I don't know if you have different rules in Oslo." Rebekah and Kol raised their eyebrows at their father at Ragnar's last statement. "Twins, any thoughts?"
"Currently, I'm imagining tearing his head off of his body." Kol said darkly and the two blonde vampires knew he wasn't exaggerating. Rebekah held her hand up telling Kol to wait. Speaking to Ragnar she questioned "So, this man isn't a friend of yours?"
"No."
"He is of no importance to your village?"
"Not that I know of, no."
She and Kol smiled at each other. Turning back to face her attacker she grabbed him by the throat choking him. Meanwhile, Kol grabbed a glass bottle and smashed it on the edge of a table moving around to stand behind Rebekah's attacker so that he was in between them. As soon as, Rebekah let the man go he stumbled back impaling himself on the jagged broken bottle; Kol let him gurgle on his blood for a few moments before harshly snapping his neck to the side following through on his threat as much as he could with a room full of humans.

Rebekah grabbed someone's drink, downing it and calling out "Show's over. Back to the party!"
"Back to the party!" Ragnar echoed.

"I told you I don't like people threatening you." Kol said to Rebekah
"Maybe you do have a heart, Koli."

Safe to say, Kol stuck by his twin's side for the rest of the night, and their father wasn't far behind them.
