Do you know what happens when your fated mate rejects you?
Rejected for reasons other than simply not wanting to be with you.
For reasons that shake you to your core.
To be publicly humiliated in front of an entire werewolf pack, including your own family.
To be made to feel the pain of a rejection due to trickery and malicious intent.
I know.
Oh, do I know.
I wished for a mate who would love me and cherish me.
I got the complete opposite.
I never wanted it to be like this.
I never meant to hurt anyone, even though I was hurting.
I'm sorry.
Pain, screaming and fire.
That's all I remember.
