Chapter 14 ~ Graduation

3rd Year Of Highschool, Graduation

Third Person Pov

It was graduation day. Everyone was celebrating, having fun, and giving their second buttons away.

It was also a sad day too. Saying goodbye to all the memories you made and all the friends you've had. It was tough.

Especially for the Karasuno Volleyball Team

Kageyama was sitting on the wooden floor of the gym. He was looking at the volleyball net. This was going to be the last time he will ever be in here. He just wanted to cherish the moment a little bit longer.

Hinata had the same idea. He walked into the gym, to see Kageyama just sitting there.
He wasn't surprised, but sad.

H- "Do you remember when we first got to Karasuno and I met you here in the gym?"

Kageyama turns to look at the orange-haired boy

H- "I was so confused and mad! I really didn't want you to be here. I wanted to beat you!

Kageyama grind

K- "I remember that like it was yesterday. Daichi got so annoyed at us and kicked us out"

They both start laughing

Hinata waded his way to Kageyama and sat down beside him

H- "The whole team was pissed at us, especially Tsukishima"

K- "He pissed me off to"

They both sat there for a bit, just thinking about all the good times they had.

H- "I never had the chance to actually beat you in a proper game. Don't worry though! I will grow to become a professional volleyball player and you will too. Then we will see who is the best.

Kageyama smirks at that

K- "We'll just have to see if you can make it."

Hinata sighs, he was not bothered to argue back

K- "Well you will be stuck with me for a couple of more years, so maybe you can learn."

Hinata looks at Kageyama with his dull brown eyes

He reaches into his pocket and pulls something out.

H- "here, have my button. I have no one else to give it to" Hinata holds Kageyamas hand and places the button in his palms

Kageyama took it in confusion

K- "but don't you-"

H- "I know, but I wanted to give it to you"

Kageyama pulled his one-off and gave it to Hinata

H- "Kageyama. I should tell you this now"

Kageyama looks back at Hinata

"Kageyama-san! Hinata-san! What are you doing in here?" A voice echoed

Both Kageyama and Hinata turned to see a first-year at the door

"Tetsu! What did I say about yelling!" Said Yamaguchi, who was right behind

"Sorry Yamaguchi-san"

Y- "Kageyama. Hinata. Perfect, your here. We were going to start a team meeting"

After a few minutes, some more first-years and second year came into the gym.

Y- "So as you all are aware, it is graduation. So us third years won't be here next year"

Yamaguchi looks at Tsukishima then to Kageyama then to Hinata and Yachi

Yachi is already sobbing her eyes out. What could she do? It really is the end
