Divine silently watched Luxury as the latter carefully prepared their lunch. Just like they used to do last month, they sat face to face at the picnic blanket Luxury always brings.
LUXURY:
Kain na tayo, madam.
DIVINE:
Let's pray first.
Divine closed her eyes as she lead the prayer. But as for Luxury, he choose to open his eyes and stared at the person his been admiring with. And just like the first time he saw her, he can't stop himself to be stunned by her beauty.
LUXURY & DIVINE:
Amen.
DIVINE:
Let's eat.
LUXURY:
Don't judge me, madam, ah.
DIVINE:
Ha? Why would I?
LUXURY:
E, kasi 'di naman ako magaling magluto. Hehe.
DIVINE:
Tapos? Ano naman?
LUXURY:
Baka lang kasi 'di pasok sa taste mo 'yong lasa.
DIVINE:
Look, Luxury, I don't mind how it tastes like, as long as wala itong gayuma, we're good.
LUXURY:
Grabe? Mukha po ba akong mangkukulam, madam?
DIVINE:
I'm just kidding.
Divine laughed at Luxury's reaction which made the man freeze from his position. For the past days of February they shared together, this was the first time he saw her laugh. Ni hindi niya nga ito nakitang ngumiti man lang.
Luxury's lips stretched into a genuine smile as he recorded her laughter at the back of his head. Surely, he'll never forget this moment.
