DIALOGUE

A.I.S SCHOOL GARDEN - EVENING
9:33 PM

After years of not having any interactions, ang marinig ang kanilang pangalan na sambitin ng bawat isa ay parang isang bagong awitin. They silently stared at each other's eyes for a few minutes before Luxury broke down the silence.

LUXURY:
How have you been, Divinity?

DIVINE:
I'm fine. How 'bout you?

LUXURY:
Doing well.

Luxury didn't say a word and dragged his feet instead to occupy the space between them. Walang pagdadalwang-isip na niyakap niya ang babae ng mahigpit. Luxury buried his head on Divine's neck and tighten his hug even more.

LUXURY:
Of course. I wouldn't wait if I didn't.

Ilang minuto silang nasa ganoong posisyon bago nagsalita ang babae.

DIVINE:
Aren't you going to ask me the reason why?

LUXURY:
I already knew the reason why. Rara told me every single thing.

Luxury sighed.

LUXURY:
Why didn't you tell me about your father, Divinity? Nakatulong man lang sana ako.

DIVINE:
I'm sorry for keeping you blinded before. It's just that, I don't want to be a burden with anyone around me, and that includes you.

Imbis na sumagot, binigyan na lang ni Luxury ng isang marahang halik sa noo si Divine. Their bodies were still in close contact, still hugging each other. They became quiet again. And for some reason, the silence between them gave them comfort as the cold wind also hugged their bodies.

But minutes have passed of the comforting silence, muling nagsalita ang lalaki.

LUXURY:
Can I have my second chance now?

Luxury finally asked the question he's meaning to ask solely for her.

Divine chuckled once again.

DIVINE:
Magiging ipokrita ako kung sasabihin kong hindi ako naghahangad ng pangalawang pagkakataon, Luxury. Magiging ipokrita ako kung hindi ko aamining masyado na palang malalim ang nararamdaman ko noon. And yes, you can freely have your second chance now.

Bahagyang kumawala sa yakap si Luxury at malambot na tinitigan si Divine na nasa kanyang harapan. Ilang minuto na silang nasa ganoong posisyon ngunit hindi pa rin siya makapaniwalang nasa bisig na niya ang babaeng noon ay tinatanaw niya lang sa malayo.

Both giggled in unison as they kept their eyes intact. With sincerity in their voice, they uttered in chorus;

DIVINE & LUXURY:
I love you.

And just like how Cupid planned for them before, they meet again at exactly February 14 without any hindrance anymore.
