me and parker were still dancing. slow dancing when all of a sudden i feel a tap on my shoulder. i turn and see addison..

me- can i help you?

addison- hey malachi yeah! how've you been?

parker- better clearly.

addison- .. right

addison turns back to me and gives me a fake smile i can already tell.

addison- so who is she?

parker- she is the girl he's on a date with and your ruining it.

addison- oh a date? already

parker- listen i'm all for no violence but if you don't get out of our way and leave us alone you'll be walking up outta here with froyo in your hair.

i laughed lightly.

addison- so you know me and him just broke up

parker- i'm aware

at this point parker had shifted her body and turned around so i was basically hugging her from behind. i had a smirk on my face knowing addison was jealous. i lower my head on parker's shoulder. i've never done these types of things with addison. we went out on dates but none like this.

addison- so you know he text me earlier asking to meet up here?

what. i didn't do that. she's lying

parker kinda froze. i felt her whole body stiffen. she kinda shrugged me off her.

parker- oh really? at what time?

addison- hm around i don't know 2:30 ish?

parker's face broke my heart. the color in her face drained and those beautiful happy eyes looked sad and broken.

parker- oh yeah right hm alright then. i'm a little hungry so why don't you guys catch up while i go get my froyo and make my way back to the park hm?

addison- and why would i do that?
