Sorcerous empire in the Attack on Titan world

"Their empire extended to the other planets!" Armin declared suddenly, turning the book over to Eren and getting the attention of the other cadets.

The mess hall had been temporarily transformed into a library as the Imperials brought the translated copies of several books that gave basic information the cadets needed to know if they wanted to advance into whatever type of soldier the Imperials and the Garrison wanted to create.

That mattered little to Armin and Eren, both of whom had reignited their fascination with the outside world, especially now that a large portion of it was made accessible to them through books and a new method of capturing images called photographs.

Eren looked at the picture, a dusty landscape had some figure wearing bizarre black suits, with a strange helmet that covered the persons face entirely, also he saw many huge vehicles. Also, many strange things that fly in the sky

"Wait, how?" and also fascinated Connie ran over and sat down, accidentally shoving Mikasa slightly.

The girl ignored it as she tried to read the same book Armin read.

"It is written here that the Sorcerous Empire was founded 805 years ago.
They made their empire so huge within 805 years. The home planet of the Sorcerous Empire is Nazar. It rules over all the planets in its solar system. A planet called Kora is mentioned here.
It took the Empire 74 years to conquer this planet. The biggest obstacle to their conquer was a species called Korc living there. Empire exterminated 99% of that species. The Empire lost over two million of their soldiers to take over this planet."

They looked at a picture in the book where the Korcs were pictured.

"They look awful."

"There are no Titans in their world. But there are other terrible creatures. In my opinion, they are even more terrible than the Titans."

"They haven't lost any soldiers fighting the Titans so far. However, the empire lost more than 2 million soldiers fighting these Korcs. It proves how terrifying these creatures are. It scares me to even imagine it."

" It is written here that Korcs also can fly. They can also run at a speed of 75 km/h."

"They are very fast. I'm sure if these creatures had attacked us instead of the Titans, humanity would have been extinct by now."

"But the Empire nearly wiped them out," Eren said.

Connie narrowed his eyes before asking "Are you just skipping ahead to whatever interests you?"

"That's what everyone else is doing, Connie," Mikasa replied, deadpanned.

"What? Am I the only one reading it in order?"

"Connie, all you're doing is walking around asking everyone else what they've read," Eren replied, eyes still on the image of what the book called an astronaut.

Connie didn't reply, switching back to his own textbook.

He discretely watched the Shiganshina trio continue reading in silence until Eren suddenly said "Armin, this says they have lands of ice and fire too!"

They really were just reading what they wanted to read...

"Maybe our two worlds aren't so different! But what does that mean?"

Eren shook his head, saying "I don't think so, I mean, look at the world map, they have a huge ocean- didn't your parents say it was more of a gigantic lake? I really doubt our ocean covers as much of the world as"

"There are other races besides humans in their world." Mikasa interrupted, almost whispering the words.

The two boys stopped.
