The band ran onto the stage at a party they were playing at. All dressed in white turtlenecks.
Billy grabbed the mic, "Evening. We're the Dunne Brothers."
"For now," Eddie added.

Lauren Roundtree: They played Susie Q. She smiled. It was one of my favorites.
Warren Rojas: We did 10 proms, 20 graduation parties. I mean, I-I don't even know how many Sweet 16s. He laughed.
Graham Dunne: The band was, you know, it was just a distraction. An escape, you know? I mean, none of us ever thought it was anything more than that, not even Billy.
Lauren: One night. It all became- real- I guess. For them. For Billy.

Lauren sat in the dark in her living room, reading. The only light coming from a single lamp she had turned on next to her. Until the front door opened and in walked Eddie and Billy.
"Night, Lauren!" Eddie called, climing the stairs as Billy made a beeline for the blonde girl.

Lauren: I always waited up for them. Eddie, Billy, whoever came through the door, I was waiting for them. For the longest time, I had wished that I fell asleep that night. Then maybe, we wouldn't have fought.
