"Kuch hua hai kya aapke aur bhaiya ke beech?" Karishma asked softly, placing her hand on Haseena's, who seemed lost in her thoughts.

Yes, they returned to Singh Mansion after spending four more days at the hotel. When Haseena felt she could face and handle herself, she asked Anubhav to go back home.

"Nhi...Aisa kuch nhi hai...!" Haseena replied softly.

"Hum jante hai hume aapke aur bhaiya ke personal life mein nhi bolna chahiye par agar koi baat hai toh aap hum se share kar sakti hai...!" Karishma said, noticing Haseena's changed behavior over the past few days.

"Nhi..koi baat nhi hai..!" Haseena said with a soft smile.

"Toh phir aap jab se apne ghar se wapas aayi hai aap itni pareshan aur khoyi khoyi kyu hai? Aise toh aap kabhi nhi thi..!" Karishma asked, expressing concern for her.

"The nhi par jaroori thodi hai ki insaan hamesha ek jaisa hi rahe..!"

"Bilkul jaroori nhi hai bhabhi par yeh bhi jaroori nhi hai ki ek insaan ek dost ke hote huye bhi apni problems share na kar sake...!" Karishma said softly.

Haseena looked at her in slight surprise, as they had never defined their relationship as friends, despite being sisters-in-law.

"Dost?" Haseena repeated, questioning.

"Aap hume apna dost nhi manti?" Karishma asked.

"Sach kahe Karishma toh hume dosti mein pehle se hi trust issues the par ab dar lag raha hai..!" Haseena said, lost in those words that Anubhav and her diary had told her about Sweety.

"Humse bhi?" Karishma asked softly. She nodded. "Toh phir ek baar hum par bharosa karke dekhiye..!" Karishma said smiling.

"Par aapki pehle se hi best friend hai phir hum?" Haseena asked.

"Sirf friend hai bhabhi, best friend nhi..!" Karishma replied.

"Phir thik hai par please aap hamara trust mat todna aur na kabhi jhooth bolna..!" Haseena said with a smile.

Karishma smiled and hugged her.

"Promise...!" Karishma said.

HASEENA

I've always placed my trust in the wrong people when it comes to friendship, first Priya and then Sweety. But Karishma, she's different from them. Since the first day after my marriage, we shared a strong bond. So, I've decided to give my luck with friendships one more chance by trusting Karishma, or you could say, giving myself a second chance to correct my past mistakes and live my life on my own terms and conditions.

"Sambhal kar Haseena...!" I heard my husband's voice, breaking my thoughts. I looked up at him. We were standing at the door of our room, facing each other. If he hadn't called out to me, I would have definitely bumped into his stone-hard chest.

"Sorry..aap kahin ja rahe hai?" I asked, noticing his office attire.

"Ek urgent meeting hai, shaam tak wapas aa jayenge..!" He said with a smile and left for his office.

In the past few days since we returned from the hotel, he has been calm but distant, which is bothering me.

No, He hasn't been yelling or arguing with me. Instead, he's been sweet, but not in the same way as before. No flirting, no demands, and no cuddling. Maybe it's because I've been maintaining a distance ever since those seven days.
