"That's for babies"

Gasping Athena looked towards me with an offended look pretending to look hurt.

"Are not! Everyone including adults watch cartoons often." Athena huffed out causing me to roll my eyes.

'No one still watches Lilo and stitch as adults, I just never seen it.'

"Not true at all" I press on causing her to huff in playful annoyance before looking towards her wife who only stared back in disbelief.

'See, even she knows I'm right.'

"You're never to old to watch cartoons" she is very determined.

"You both are unbelievable. Especially you Athena; you know how babies are love, they already have their minds set on what they want and don't want to believe. You're no better going back n forth with her either" Adira said while laughing at both of our antics while I whine at her very wrong words.

Looking over at Athena who was mumbling about unfairness, I tell them both I'm not a baby only to receive chuckles from the evil couple.

"How about we go over your work little missy ."

"But I'm hurt remember, my head hurts so bad" I groan out. They can't make me do work, plus it's not even due until next week.

Snickering Athena gives me a sympathetic look before turning to Adira who also held the same expression.

"Oh my" Adira spoke looking towards me. "You're so right my darling girl; I guess me and Athena will leave you to rest while we head out to the theater room. Would you like to sleep in the guest roo-?"

"NO! Nu uh my head doesn't hurt anymore, I feel so much better" I interpt. Athena seemed to find out now banter funny while getting up and stretching her arms.

"I'll go put our dishes up and make a quick meal. Does nachos sound good?"

Nodding she leaves immediately after causing a eerie silence.

"Genevieve?"

Looking towards Adira, she scoots closer to me speaking out causing me to blush tremendously.

"I know you said you wanted to give it a shot with us being your caregivers and we are unbelievably greatful. But I want to make sure you are really okay with it all; I want you to feel sure about this?"

She looks at me through her stormy eyes giving a small but genuine smile.

'It may have been a rushed answer but I was sure with it. I felt safe with the couple and they seem to care for me a lot. I won't like and say I'm not nervous, because I am; overall I'm sure about this so I give her a nod.'

"Words please bambina"

"Yes.....I am positive." I say blushing more.

"You're so adorable Tesoro, I can't believe how lucky we got." She said earning a giggle from me.

We're both in our own world until a bang is heard followed by a cursing Athena. We share a look before Adira stands up with a friend plastered in her face reaching for my hand to follow.

Instead I shake my head confusing her until she understands what I want when reaching my arms up.

"What do want love?" Whining I reach up more eagerly hoping she just obliges but she doesn't.

"Words baby, what do you want."

"Uppies." I quietly say.

"Good girl, come here then my little princess; up you go."

Resting my head on her shoulder we head to the kitchen passing by a series of doors until we reach out destination.

We finally spot Athena who seemed to be displeased leadig to Adira speaking out.

"What happened, Is everything okay?"

"Yea, but it seems we me just be eating a sandwich with chips. I hope you both like Nacho Doritos."

"What would you like to drink? We have water, orange juice, apple juice and lemonade."

"Lemonade!!" I yell out.

"Coming right up, but inside voices next time cutie." Adira smiles out.

"Now, who's ready to watch a movie?"

*I updated!!!!!! It's really short but Im leaving out and thought an update was better than none especially since my schedule started TODAY for this book.
