The reason why Jhing didn't like physical activities started when she was in grade 6. Puberty meant changes, emotionally and physically. One PE time, nagpapasahan ang klase ng bola ng basketball, and the guy who was bullying her that time, Fuck that Junko!, passed the ball to her with so much force.

The feeling was hell, akala niya magkaka-breast cancer siya at the age of 11.

It didn't stop – first the ball, second was in third year high school – cheering. Hindi siya palasayaw, but it was required for the class to join the competition. She wasn't the lightest girl in class, kaya isa siya sa nag-aalalay sa binubuhat.

Syempre, because the other girl was pretty, dito ang lahat ng tulong. Tinulungan siya ng kaibigan, but decided to go to the clinic herself.

Nag-absent siya for a week: 2 days for her aching ankle, and the other 3 for her damaged ego. And gahd, the black eye didn't make her look badass. Nagmukha lang siyang panda.

A very sad panda.

Just to save herself from ego damage and aching soul.

Working, she never expected to wake up with a heavy body that felt like she was dragged to hell. Sobrang sakit ng lahat as if she fought in world war 3, kaunting paggalaw lang ng kamay ay para siyang nagbuhat ng kotse.

"Tangina. . ." she whispered as she tried to move her stiff body.

Masakit eh.

"Good morning din, Jhing."

She looked at the side, her neck fucking hurts!, and saw Miko sitting on the monobloc. Umagang-umaga, he was full of smile. And what the hell was he doing—oh.

Oo nga pala.

Pinatulog niya si Miko sa apartment.

Sinubukan niyang bumangon, pero kahit pagkuha ng phone to see the time was useless. Ang sakit talaga ng lahat sa kanya.

"Masakit ba katawan mo?" Miko asked.

She got her phone, at tiningnan ang mga text. One from July asking papasok ka ba sa office? and a text from an unknown number.

Good Morning, Riona Jayne!

Jhing looked at Miko. Lalo itong ngumiti.

"Sa wakas, nakita mo na rin text ko."

Kagigising lang at lahat, bubungad sa kanya ang kakornihan ni Miko. She mentally noted she'll block his number nang hindi ito mangulit sa susunod. Not that there will be a next time.

When she put her phone down on the side which made her winced in shoulder pain, Miko frowned.

"Wala man lang reply?"
