That night I felt so weird, I needed to talk to my mom. I let jake go home and sleep, so I could have a real talk with my mom.
As my mom and I sat on the foot of my bed she sensed something was up. With her concerning face she asked "what's going on Ness?" I then told her, "mom I'm just scared I feel like me being with jake is like committing to marriage. I love him and everything, but what if in the end I don't and we end up splitting up? Does he realize this is a relationship and that's it for now?"
My mom looked at me in a knowing way "Renesmee, that's what I wonder about everyday. This is why everyone is so hesitant about you two. I want you to figure out your love life for yourself, have a relationship with Jacob and see where it goes and if it doesn't work out it doesn't work out!"
I thanked my mom for helping me realize what I thought was ok, I loved jake and I could chose my love life. So for now jake was my choice!
